So, do you actually have to play put a turn (or more) of moving your miniatures onto objectives etc with the only thing getting in the way being potentially low Run dice rolls?

Fun for you and your opponent!

If your playing at a tournament, you’ll probably have to as, every victory point you’ll gain will determine your rank.

Also if your opponent has more victory points then you and yet has still been obliterated to nothingness, that would still be his victory, so you definitely want to try and keep playing the game, if time or any rounds are still left to be used/played.

in a friendly game, You don’t really have to bother too much.

ranking isn't really a thing here.

also I should mention the following thing.

the only time you officially win a game before the time/last turn runs out would probably be the time when your opponent forfeits the game.

although at an event this might not be to your favor, if you are trying to win the whole event no matter what
