polarbear
As in, Fyreslayers + Dispossessed + duardin ironweld arsenal. With a united paint scheme, would this army look right? Also, for anyone who has that sort of army, did you put the old duardin on 25mm rounds? How does that look along with the 32mm Fyreslayers? Thank you. Veterannoob
@polarbear I have a large Fyreslayers army and am rebasing my duardin, which is a mix of disposessed, ironweld and old legacy dwarfs under AoS. Fyreslayers come on 32 but been using resin rock round bases 25 for my other duardin army and it looks perfect to me. For some models that look slightly scale larged (say from 3rd party lines) you'd be amazed at how well the same shield set ties it all together. Like, extra Longbeard shields, for ex. 32s elevate the model up higher than 25 but it's not a huge deal. If you plan to do them combined like this all the time you may want to go 32. Double Misfire
In the Eavy Metal and studio armies all old dwarf infantry goes on 25mm bases, bar the Warden King who goes on a 32. I can imagine Ironweld Arsenal dwarfs and Dispossessed look terrible next to each other. Fyreslayers next to the newer dwarfs look no different from units of slayers in a classic WFB army, go for it, use a nice unifying scheme, and don't forget to post results.
