Table/Battlefield size?

Hi all.

I heard some AOS podcasts reference a change in suggested minimum table size for AOS, similar to what happened in 40k recently. But I couldn't find anything official from GW saying that this was happening. Can anyone help me out with that? Is this a confirmed change, or is it speculation/assumption on the part of the podcasters?

There have been multiple rumors that the table size will change to match the minimum table size for 40K when AOS 3.0 is released. There are also rumors that 3.0 will be released this summer.  There are hopes that 3.0 will be announced on Saturday at the last day of virtual Warhammerfest.

There is no confirmation but the writing is on the wall so to speak. The good news is that 44×60 for AoS works fine without generating issues like in 40k. And you can mash four warcry boards together to make a battlefield.
