SwampHeart
I'm sure this has been asked before but I could not find an answer. Can a Lord Celestant on a Star Drake use Rain of Stars to target the same unit multiple times?
King Taloren
I’m not seeing anything either though nothing to say you can’t and I think there is precedent somewhere with another ability somewhere.
Sedraxis
No. I don't see how you could. It literally says pick up to d6 enemy units, if you pick the same unit three times you'd still only have picked 1 unit in the end. Can you pick 3 words in this sentence? Can, Can and Can doesn't really make a viable answer. I think common sense is the best medicine here.

Because you have to roll to determine number of unit that you can choose but not number of attack you that can made.
SwampHeart
Found the answer - I knew I had seen it somewhere. Its in the core rules FAQ rather than the SCE.
