thebouv
I started my Nurgle daemon army years ago on the Papa Nurgle forums and have messed with them off on on. I've played them in 40k and WHFB. I'm not a fan of painting anymore but after finishing this guy I feel my steam coming back. My real passion with them is sculpting and conversion work. So I'm going to start this thread to show my progress as it moves along. First up is my Soul Grinder of Nurgle, who I started in 2014 and just finished last night. Goodwin
Dig the rust effect and the nice ol' gut! I also enjoy me some playful Nurglings. My Hellcannons used to have some hanging around them as well. They make quite the mess when they go into the wrong part of the machinery though. The gut looks like part of the model. Not like my conversions, where it just looks like someone stuck a lump of clay onto the model. So good work! I'm not brave enough to try to convert my Soul Grinder yet, so he remains in the box. I hope the Gut Force is strong with me that day, so i can make a nice looking one as well!

Brunel.Richard
That daemon prince is amazing!!! The conversion and sculpting work is brilliant work. You might call it Omunyongororwa, The Maggot Lord, Consumer of Hope, The Wretched Harbinger but I'd call it Snuffie.

I was hesitant to actually use it, since it is so easily recognizable. But with the wings in combo, I think this was too fun to pass up. Like he's a mutant mosquito from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I did quite a big of work on his neck to blend it in with tumors and the like, so I ended up quite proud of him.
