Reposing the Verminlord Glaive

So I like the Verminlord models in general but I hate that the ones with the Doomglaive are stepping on it.  Has anyone had any luck reposing the model? It seems like it would be fairly easy to do but I've never seen one in person to get a good look at it.

At a glance, my recommendation would be to build the pose of one of the other vermin lords then just do a weapon swap so it is holding the glaive instead of whatever weapon that pose normally uses.

Tooting my own horn but you can stick the right foot on the rock and  greenstuff the doomglaive to fill in where the foot would go. It was minimum effort, though I plan to do something more extensive in future.
