Blade of Judgement and Shooting?

I had a weird rules question. So, if I take the blade of judgement relic, in place of a melee weapon that has a shooting attack along with a melee profile, does the relic triggering work on the shooting attack, in addition to melee attacks?

No. They may have the same name for flavour, but in mechanics terms the melee weapon and ranged weapon are separate weapons.

I think every weapon profile represents a different weapon, ruleswise.

you can’t use blade of judgement on shooting attacks. Essentially your hero is wielding the blade for close combat and using the other weapon only for its ranged attacks
