Do dead heroes still hold objectives?

Hi all,

Playing Duality of Death (the one where a hero or wizard controls the objectives, think that’s the name), what happens if a controlling hero dies and no others are within 3”? Is the objective lost or retained by the player who previously controlled it?

The objective was played as retained at 6Nations, but all agreed that this was about 600% not intended and expected to get FAQ'd in the future.
