maybe. it might just be the picture. the dark parts of the background may be messing with the contrast a little. Also, if you want a sort of grimy white, then you probably have what you are looking for!

did you use a flash on your camera? if not, maybe try a couple of sources of light so it balances out the color levels.

Yes actually, I did use flash. I'll try a couple of variations and post them

Nice! They look suitably volcanic.

Just one think I'd add for your consideration-the black on the bases draws the eye as much as the rest of the model due to black being a dense colour. You might want to try a brown, as it's friendly to both Orange and Red without competing with it, it might serve to frame the colours a bit better. But of course it's up to you!

Played my first two games of age of Sigmar today. Two losses but I had a lot of fun. 500 Point week of the escalation League at my local store. First game was against beastclaw Raiders and the second game was against Idoneth deepkin.

That pesky three times arrows at close range is really hard to deal with...

My men take the field for the first time.

Beast claw Raiders game

Idoneth game setup. Ended up better in this one than the first. Knocked out the unit of Thralls with great weapons after they took care of my liberators on Turn 3. Then eventually made it into the archers and Scribe. Did four wounds on the Scribe but did not kill him and killed a couple of The Archers before he brought some of them back. Then he retreated and filled me full of arrows.

Only have the one pic because this game was intensive.
