Quinzo7
since skaven belong to chaos is it possible to make a decent army that combines archaon and skaven? it doesn't have to be competitive since it would be more for fun. if it is allowed in the official rules does anyone have any tips or suggestions for me to look at? NemoVonUtopia
Yes, if you use the grand allegiance chaos abilities you can include anything with the chaos keyword. Since archaon let's everyone use their command abilities I would recommend taking multiple skaven warlords and a gray seer or two then add other skaven units you want to have. Envyus
Archaon can be put into pretty much any chaos army. (He has all the keywords.) The Skaven are the only ones he does not synergyse with however.

He does synergise with them in the sense that he allows the Skaven to use their command abilities more effectively - Since they absolutely want to stack them due to their general lack of allegiance abilities and such. The only place where there is a lack of synergy there, is that skaven do nothing for Archaon, whereas he would normally benefit from any of the other chaos gods in the form of allegiance abilities and spells. Therefore: Archaon benefits Skaven greatly. Skaven does not benefit Archaon greatly.
