Like BaldoBeardo said. You should remember. A unit that is summoned is not part of the armylist. You're never mention units in your list that you are summoning during the game. The pointpool for summoning is the only indicator you have that you want to summon things. And so they can't be a target for things like Artefact, being general, being a minimum choise and so on. Don't know the exact wording, but I'd hazard the guess that anything that needs to be declared at the start of the battle/during initial set up can't be applied to summoned heroes?
