Hello,

ist it possible to build a Mournfang unit with two models, one as a Skalg with an Ironlock Pistol, a Gargant Hacker and a  Banner and the other model as a Hornblower with a Gargant Hacker?

What is with "WYSIWYG "? I can't imagine this.

Yes it is. A Skalg is a model type, a Horn Blower is a model type, and a Banner is an item a model can hold, there is no Banner Bearer type of mournfang.

The setup works as: Skalg with Pistol and Banner and then Horn Blower.

There's a FAQ on wysiwyg that basically says dudes with drums/banners/whatever are considered to have the same weapons as the rest of the unit.

Edit, from AoS rules FAQ:

Q: How do models like horn blowers and standard bearers work? Do they lose the weapons they would otherwise carry, or do you just gain the benefits of the upgrades without penalty?

A: You just gain the benefits unless specifically stated otherwise. The model is assumed to still have any weapons it had before it was upgraded, even if the weapons are not shown on the model itself.
