Paul Conti
So I was taking a look at Skaarac, and trying to think of a list where he's viable. At 500 points, he's extremely expensive, so it seems unlikely, but maybe possible. Preliminary thoughts: Run a Skulltake battalion and make him your General. Khorgoraths are Monsters, so they can benefit from Skaarac's command ability. You can run units of more than 1 Khorgorath, so I'm thinking running 2 units of 3 of them. They get 8 attacks each with the battalion, 6" move, and can run and charge in the same turn. If you add 2 Bloodstokers, your Khorgoraths will get +6" to their movement because they run and charge. So thats going to average you a 22" move/charge. Thoughts?
sal4m4nd3r
I have a friend who does this exact thing and it's devastatingly hard to counter. Does very well at local tournaments
Jharen
Yeah this guy got discussed quite a bit in the past in the Khorne thread. He's just not worth it in a competitive game. At 500 points he's just not bringing anything that special to the table. For that point cost you could get 5 more Khorgoraths which massively out do him in every way. He's fun, I do enjoy having him and using him on occasion but he's just too unreliable on his damage output and his abilities aren't enough to justify that cost.
