Yet more Spearhead information, this time about Battle Tactics and Commands.

Grey Seer wins the BL Reader's Choice vote, which isn't much of a surprise. Oh and Titanicus for the 40k category.

Spearhead rules preview for 4.0. Impressed they seem to have put so much thought into making it a unique mode. I never looked too deeply into Combat Patrol, and I could be totally wrong about this, but it seems a bit more like this has more depth to it.

The Darkoath PDF is now out on WarCom. Direct link to the PDF. Obviously the rules are redundant soon, but hey, there's lore! Plus it beats squinting at the influencer videos.

Manifestations and Faction Terrain preview. Interestingly that they behave a lot more like actual units now.

I kind of like them. It makes the unit look more distinct and lends them a Hoplite-look which fits their weaponry.

New Prosecutors.

I'm hoping we'll see a BFG reboot, even if it is only Heresy initially (which based off Legions Imperialis seems realistic). However part of me does hope they'll have made a conscious effort to sort out production capacity before announcing another game that will be sold out for months five minutes before pre-order.

Yep, Grombrindal and WD 500 pre-orders next week. Also some more Orcs & Goblin Made to Order for TOW.

I think it's precisely because of the Grombrindal series that people (including me) were expecting him to be a permanent, non-Legends addition to the range. It felt like they were setting him up to serve as Grungni's 'avatar' on the tabletop, as well as lore. Especially after Gotrek.

The bindings on the beard are from Fyreslayers, but admittedly I'm unsure of where the Kharadron doodads are. I guess the compass is supposed to be? They definitely played it a lot more subtle than I expected they would. Outside of Legends he'd make a good Warden King proxy for Dispossessed in that respect.

It's probably because he's a limited edition model for the WD anniversary, but won't get a general release. Hopefully in the future we might see a different, regular production version. I realise that's very optimistic at this point but what the heck I'll always hope for more Dawi.

They don't always say they'll show off a new model, even though they usually do. Poor intern probably just forgot.

No models for AoS next week, but a new omnibus as well as Yndrasta: The Celestial Spear in paperback. Presumably it contains Gates of Azyr, Soul Wars and Dominion.

Magic and Prayers preview, along with a couple more Warscrolls. Wizards and Priests now functioning somewhat differently in their mechanics I think is really cool.
