  1. I don't think so either, but I needed the excuse not to spend more money ahead of Legions Imperialis.
  2. Thanks everyone, this talk of RoboRunefather has convinced me not to try and buy the Ossiarch Battleforce tomorrow.
  3. Glad to see they've not forgotten about Bael. Might be a good sign he's finally getting a unique model, if not in Dawnbringers then 4.0?
  4. If they don't I will hold you personally responsible for jinxing it.
  5. AoS: I think we'll only see Flesh-Eater Courts for AoS, because they're having to cram seven systems into a one hour slot. Dawnbringers IV I reckon we'll be waiting for a bit longer, especially since we've still got 5-7 months until AoS 4.0 which is time enough to put another book or two out. If they hadn't stretched out the CoS reveals like they did I might be more optimistic they'll show everything, but it'll depend on how big the wave is and if any existing stuff (sans the post-AoS releases like the Archregent and Herald) is carrying over. Underworlds: Destruction-themed Daughters of Khaine? A third Ironjawz team designed with the new 'Ardboys in mind? We've had Gloomspite, Bonesplitterz, Kruelboyz and Ogor themed warbands in the last couple of years, so probably not any of those. Maybe Spiderfang will be a wildcard team (ALA Snarlfangs were) and resolve that one ancient Rumour Engine? The Old World: Tomb Kings half of the new stuff seems a given, probably with a full reveal of what the starter set will contain. A few resin Heroes, a plastic Lord and new unit. 40k: Who cares. Okay, fine. Dark Angels and Orks are the next two armies for a codex on the roadmap. So probably something for them. More cynically, just the Dark Angels since Valrak went on a while back now about them getting a bunch of new units. Kill Team: Bookies Favourite is Vespid isn't it? Lets go with that. 30k: Assault Marines, Command Squad and whatever the Mystery Winter Army reveal is. Necromunda: Enforcer Venator.
  6. Well, if you reread my post I deliberately wrote it saying 'while people usually' rather than specifically accusing you of it, since it was somewhat unclear from the tone. Granted, given that TGA has a great deal of a snarky, hopefully-it-fails attitude towards TOW, I do usually assume the worst.
  7. The thing is, while people usually say this as a "haha TOW is dead on arrival amirite?" whenever you look at reasons why people commit to 40k and never touch another game, one of the reasons most often stated is... the setting. Plus a lot of people are terrified of touching anything without a GW label on it, but still want a rank-and-flank game. Also, Fantasy wasn't killed that long ago. I heard the same things in the runup to Heresy 2E; "none actually wants 40k 7th gameplay back!"
  8. Movement preview for The Old World. Quite a bit to chew in there.
  9. Might be thinking of this one. They're definitely on different Tactical Statues, but look similar enough to probably be FEC.
  10. Battleforces next week. Also some new pins if that's your thing.
  11. What's the time? Dawnbringer Chronicles time. Yes, I'm running out of ways to word these. Fire breathing Gargant = Chorfs confirmed???
  12. Probably Fyreslayers. Iirc they sift through what they earned for Ur-Gold and then stick the rest of it in their Magmahold hoard. Given their Holds are largely self-sufficient and their society seems to put more emphasis on bloodlines than wealth - especially compared to other Duardin - it's fair to assume they have a lot of the stuff. Kharadron probably have more wealth 'in circulation' but they probably make more active use of it in trading with other factions and each other.
  13. I feel like if Bolesplitterz were on the chopping block, Big Waaagh would be right next to them. Big Waaagh with just Kruelboyz and Ironjawz would feel strange imo.
  14. Worth remembering that Bonesplitterz had a Battletome in early 1.0, at a time when they were at their most giddy about squatting armies. While I'd never doubt GW's willingness to have a range executed, between that and the afore mentioned Underworlds warband - a relatively recent one at that - may point to them, probably, being safe. Gloomspite randomly getting a modernised version of Goblin Wolf Riders (after the Underworlds warband at that) makes me think the same thing could happen for the Spiderfang, especially when I would argue they fit the 'dank cave dwellers' theme better than Snarlfang Riders do.
  15. New site does seem faster to click through if you know what you're looking for. Shame the 360 views largely seem to be broken, for now anyway.
  16. Nope. I think they just wanted to do a tease because it's Halloween. Kind of like how they teased Votann/Squats on April Fools. Iirc the next preview is slated for mid-November? Maybe we'll get a peep at the new FEC before then though, especially with the leaks in the wild. Then again I said that last stream so probably best to just ignore me.
  17. So some people more inquisitive than I did some snooping and it appears the webstore is down because there's going to be a new webstore. Forge World and the GW webstores are being merged. Not very relevant to AoS anymore, but might be of note with The Old World releasing more resin kits (or if some of the ported AoS stuff returns).
  18. Having taken a look at some of the Inquisition models, it does seem to be a 40k design.
  19. Another tease for Flesh Eater Courts a new noble and dashing army.
  20. Another week, another Rumour Engine. This time it's a Hand Crossbow. Could be AoS, could be 40k. Edit: It matches the 40k Inquisitor Greyfax crossbow, so guess we can write it off.
