  4. So looking at twinstones, it doesnt matter how many points you use from the dice pool, it resets to 1 after that spell is cast. So its probably best to use its ability every time you hit 3 on the counter? means every 3rd spell you can add plus 3 to cast from it Alternatively, since it starts with 1 and every time you use it, it goes back to 1, maybe just cast using that +1 every spell?

  6. Hey, dont think I saw a reply So yes, a battalion gives you +1 cp and +1 artifact, plus the artifact ability for the units in the battalion The extra bonus is numbers of drops. For instance, with our lance, we can have 3 units of Dawnriders for 1 drop. Or the legion. you get the hero, up to 4 units of Archers and equal numbers of wardens, for 1 drop. so that's a potential of 9 units for 1 drop. Some armies are designed that they need to go first. Like if you take teclis, you need to go 1st really to get his buffs up. Since some other armies can get good 2-4 drop armies, you kind of need to get a 2 - 3 drop list to get 1st turn (if you need it)

Wow, Magical insite is great. 1 aetherstone to cast an extras spell. this can be really useful if you really need to hammer a magic phase through. Hmmmm But I dont see Elthaerion being able to cast with it. lets you cast an extra spell if you are a wizard, not make you a wizard who can cast a spell

So Cathallar's are caster also and have spme special command traits if they are your general, as well as artifacts of power Command trait: 1: Spell master: Once in each of your hero phased, you can re-roll 1 failed casting roll for this general 2: Loremaster: This general knows 1 extra spell from the lore of Hysh 3: Warmaster: If this general is part of your army and on the battlefield at the start of your herophase, roll a dice. on a 4+ you receive 1 extra command point Artefacts: 1: Phoenix Stone If a friendly lumineth Realm-lord hero is slain within 12" of the bearer, before removing the model from play, roll a dice. On a 6, that model is not slain, all wounds allocated are healed and any wounds that currently remain to be allocated are nagated. (ouch...maybe a 6, but imagine it being used on Teclis, Eltharion or the mountain hero) 2: Silver Wand bearer can attempt to cast 1 extra spell in your hero phase. 3: Blade of leaping gold Pick one of the bearers melee weapons. Add 3 to the attacks characteristics of the weapon wow...so my Zaitrec Cathallar general would probably take Spell master or loremaster and Silverwand getting 2 spells from the zaitrec ability, and +1 to cast for the first, plus being able to reroll a failed cast (and using the stones endless spell) could add some great versatility Also, I love she can absorb one -1B per round from useing atherstone and give it to an enemy

  13. Bored at work and churning out lists. I kinda like this non Teclis mixed army list. Has the 30 Wardens, Eltherion and the Mega Cow for combat, mixed magic and then for shooting you have 3 units of archers (inc Eltharion/Mega Cow shooting) and 5 knights to either go for far light defended obj or light units Zitrec Eltharion: 220 Scinari Cathallar - 140 pts 30 Wardens - 360 pts – Hysh Ward thing 10 Wardens - 120 pts - Heavenly Blessing 10 Wardens - 120 pts - Total Darkness 10 Sentinels - 140 pts - Hysh Ward thing 10 Sentinels - 140 pts - Sparkling Light 10 Sentinels - 140 pts - Total Darkness 5 Dawnriders – 130 pts - Swiftness of Hysh Alalith, spirit of the mountain – 340pts Auralan Legion - 120 pts Hyshian Twinstones – 30 pts 2000pts total, 4 drops

Yeah, +1 to cast, dispel, unbind the first each wizard does each phase (so basically to all) get 2 speills Plus Zitrec wizards know a special spell which halfs an enermy unit movement (Still waiting on english wording and not translations) Teclis English scrolls on my twitter btw, @chumphammer

Actually you can make a pretty solid just Gortrek list: Where the hell is Tyrion? list Zitrec Gotrek - 520 pts Scinari Cathallar - 140 pts 30 Wardens - 360 pts – Hysh Ward thing, Heavenly Blessing 10 Wardens - 120 pts - Swiftness of Hysh, Sparkling Light 10 Wardens - 120 pts – Hysh Ward thing, Heavenly Blessing 10 Sentinels - 140 pts - Swiftness of Hysh, Sparkling Light 10 Sentinels - 140 pts – Total Darkness, 10 Sentinels - 140 pts - Total Darkness, Sun Eruption 5 Dawnriders – 130 pts - Sun Eruption, Heavenly Blessing Auralan Legion - 120 pts Hyshian Twinstones – 30 pts Soulsnare shackles – 40 pts 2000pts total, 3 drops Gotrek and 30 Wardens advance, with Dawnriders flanking (mainly to be a pain, target small heroes or units, cap an easy obj or throw a cheeky shackles on someone) 2 x 10 wardens move slow and support archers. Archers target heroes/support first. Have 10 wardens summon the Twinstone, then cast some of your unit buffs in range of it. Then you can have the other 10 Wardens either cast off Either Total Darkness or the big block if within 12 cast the fnp spell on themselves. One can also cast the half movement spell also from Zitrec

Also, maybe our artifacts might be able to be given to unit champions or something? Old High elves champions could often have a magic item

  21. Totally, I was actually thinking about things a different way just now, where with Zietrec we have one of the cheapest mage characters. Just take 5 stoneguard as a caster. 10 wounds, 4+ AS, +1 to cast, dispel, unbind. 2 spell choices. Can do a little work in combat if needs be. I dont know many other mages in the game (Bar a sorceress and battlemage for 90) that cheap. Doesnt matter if they are slow if they are just being casters lol Hmmm. I might look into that. Could work with Eltharion. Like above but maybe drop some knights ZaitrecEltharion: 220 Scinari Cathallar: 140 30 Wardens: 360 30 Wardens: 360 10 Dawnriders: 260 5 Stone Guard: 100 5 Stone Guard: 100 10 Sentinels: 140 10 Sentinels: 140 Auralan Legion: 120 60pts for endless spell So Eltharian middle Flanked by Wardens Sentinals behind with the Stoneguard in support as casters Dawnriders go off to harass, or act as a support charge unit 8 units with 2 spell choices each So 8 casts, 8 dispels. All at +1 to cast and unbind. Maybe a choice item if any in the book for the Scianri as well (Stoneguard can bodyguard her if general) Could even drop the 2nd unit of Wardens for a Megacow
