  1. Kharadrons had to wait 10 months, Fyreslayers nearly two years. But I think a year after release seems like a good estimation.
  2. As others have said before, a focus on mining/craftsmanship and traditions seems likely. Rune crafting seems also likely, as no other duardin factions makes much use of them at the moment. I could see GW making a new re-designed miners set with pickaxes, bombs and special weapons, new rune smith heroes, a grudge-keeper hero (carrying the clans book of grudges into battle) and maybe a giant stone golem as a center piece model.
  3. So much this! ^^^ Thats what I love the most about the new Age of Sigmar stuff. Taking established stuff and putting a new spin on it! Thats also why I dont want GW to merge factions again, as all these mini factions have enormous potential for truly great armies! (Fire Bellies could become pacific islander themed fire cultists; Ironweld Arsenal could become a clockwork punk army similar to the Vinci from Rise of Legends; etc...)
  4. https://www.warhammer-community.com/2018/12/26/26th-dec-gloomspite-gitz-revealedgw-homepage-post-1/ Here there are. Enjoy! Edit: I like the two squigs carrying the Loon Kings cape!
  5. "Sold Out online" doesnt mean much. This happens all the time (for example the DoK Blood Cauldron Kit). "No longer avaible" is more of a give-away.
  6. Another motivation for Hag Queens and Slaughter Queens could be ambition. The Daughters of Khaine are Morathis children and Morathi herself has always been ambitious. Maybe a Hag Queen isnt happy with her position als lowly priestess (and blood brew jockey) and longs for more power, or maybe a Slaughter Queen has becomen envious of the scathborns status as favored children of Morathi.
  7. Im sorry but how can you forget Ser Roggen? The greatest knight in the service of our lady Alarielle I think one of the biggest problems right now is not the lack of characters but the disconnect between tabletop heroes and black library heroes. I can understand why. Author like to have characters that are completely there own but the tabletop heroes need a few stories outside of the rulebooks to really establish themselves. Hell, the most Ive read about Brokk Grungsson was in a rant from another character about this guy in "curse of the iron dragon".
  8. Kharadron Overlords were released in march/april 2017 and got a Start Collecting Box in Febuary 2018. So 10-11 months is a good estimation for other armies. I think we will get a Daughters of Khaine box somewhere early next year.
  9. 2 Cauldron sets are useful (build one as a Shrine and the other as Cauldron), 10 Blood Sisters are really strong as well. The only problem is that you will have 4 units of Khinerai but only 2 units of Witch Aelfs. If you want to go all in I would recommend trying to sell or trade 2 units of Khinerai against more basic troops so you can fill your battle line requirements.
  10. Only speaking for Daughter of Khaine here. One Battleforce box is a good way to start. You get all possible Heroes (besides Morathi) and every plastic kit besides the Doomfire Warlocks at least once. You can't go wrong with Daughters of Khaine competitive wise. Sure, 3x30 Witch Aelfs plus Hag Queens is really good right now but a snake heavy builds or mixed lists are still pretty strong. One Battleforce Box would make for a good 1000p list: LeadersBloodwrack Medusa (140)- GeneralSlaughter Queen on Cauldron Of Blood (330)Hag Queen (60)Battleline10 x Sisters Of Slaughter (120)- Barbed Whips and Sacrificial Knives 5 x Blood Sisters (140)Units10 x Khinerai Heartrenders (160)Total: 950 / 1000
  11. Maggotkin of Nurgle happened in January this year. So it wouldn't be unordinary for GW.
  12. I would have preferred a second unit of witch aelfs or Melusai over two units of Khinerai. But this looks still good for me. I haven't really brought anything for my DoK after the initial release so this is still a good bargain for me.
  13. GW doesnt like to show things that are more than 3 months away. The First Idoneth Preview was similar. Only some artwork and a "soon" and then Just a few weeks later we got a pretty extensiv Preview.
  14. The difference is, its not: "You must take Volturnos to unlock this unit". You can take the generic Ahkelian King version and it works all the same. But there is no generic Morathi.
  15. Its not an oversight. Its on purpose. Special characters almost never unlock Battleline options. So that people that dont like named characters can still have the full experience.
  16. Thought exactly the same! Man, Vhane Glorious is a great comic But circling back to Age of Sigmar and the rumor engine: I think this isn't the one picture of a belt buckle we have seen recently. I can't remember a dagger next to the buckle in the b/w picture.
  17. There are a lot of good ideas in there! I completely agree with Minor changes and the "Battleline if" changes. The Kharadrons need more variety and that would be a cheap way to do it. This would also give the Skywardens a specific role. Only thing I would do differently is the save on the Gunhauler. I would keep the 5+ save (but still make it cheaper) to have a certain progression between the different ships. In regards to the major changes: I would simply change it so that skyvessels use the garrison rule from the current core book. This would prevent the rules from getting to complex. The Gunhauler change sounds good. I have thought about something similar a while back. The increased save should take care of the survivability of the ships. Close combat debuffs would unfairly target pure combat armies like khorne and would make the Kharadrons not fun to play against New Hero: how about something similar to the plague drone hero for the MoN? A new hero from a existing kit. One possible build would be a Skyrigger with two pistols (as Endrinriggers and Skywardens use the opposite hand for their pistols) Spell-proofing ships sounds good. A 6+ anti-magic aura around every sky vessel would make the ships more important
  18. They had different battletomes for the various chambers at first. The very first battletome covered the warrior chamber while the Battletome Extremis Chamber covered the dracoths. But the feedback was rather negativ and when they changed to the new battletome format with the sylvaneth they decided to have it all in one book.
  19. And yet, many are happy about more Stormcasts and buy them. They just arent as vocal as people who cant stand SCE. I have heared it before every Stormcasts release "Oh, I dont like Stormcasts. I dont want anymore of them" but more often then not people come around and say that they like the style of the new chamber. GW sees the data and they must have come to the conclusion that new chambers are good for buisness. They will stop prioritising them when they stop selling so well. So the easiest solution is to not buy them and let other people enjoy their minitures.
  20. They made a post on the Warhammer Underworlds FB page yesterday that they will Show something today on the Spiel.
  21. DoK are really strong at the moment. Espacilly large units of Witch Aelfs supported by Hag Queens. I think its most likely Hag Queens will go up at least 20 points and Witch Aelfs will lose their horde point reduction.
  22. Thats what they always say. All rumor engine pictures are posted on both FB sites.
  23. Yeah. I could definitely see GW remaking man'o'war as a specialist game set in the mortal realms. Man'o'war came up recently on reddit too. Thats what I wrote about it back then: So far specialist games have been very successful and there is no sign that GW will stop doing them anytime soon. There are not much games left to be resurrected after whenever they release Battlefleet: Heresy. Only Man'o'war and warmaster and I think a ship games is more plausible as warmaster and AoS would be too similar and GW likes to differentiate their games so that they dont cannibalize each other.
  24. They did it for the Shadespire warbands but only after all of them were released. I guess it will be the same for Nightvault.
  25. World Eaters and Emperors Children aren't even a question anymore. They will come. GW confirmed as much at a seminar recently. They also said they are looking into other Chaos Legions like the Night Lords. So I would say the full 9 Chaos Legions are now possible (if sales numbers for Traitor Marines stay high).
