‘I don’t like it’ doesn’t mean nobody cares about the faction or the game. What a weird take, especially when the reaction here (and elsewhere) has been very largely positive. Not every release will be or needs to be attractive to you.

They did exist in Fantasy, they had a white dwarf army list a while ago. So it’s not a new concept.

They’re starting reveals, articles etc from Psychic Awakening from Monday (with a specific webpage for it being up already), so it’s probably not too far out from the first release. I do think we’ll get AoS first. Beastgrave is the 21st preorder, so that leaves next weekend, which could be one or both of the new battletomes, then Beastgrave, then a couple of weeks of 40k then the Ossiarch.

The Stormcast had been out for a while, only the character was really new in the Plague War box. Shadowspear was all pushfit models (which could be the case here but seems unlikely). And new edition boxes are a different thing.

Out of curiosity, do you feel the same about the Morathi model? Personally I don’t mind the scenic bases like this. Models are all just a snapshot of the character at a specific time. If he didn’t have the base, it’s not like he’s constantly going to be in that pose, either. The scenery isn’t actually moving around the battlefield, just like the other models aren’t actually moving around frozen in one pose.

So, the newest Death faction has been revealed at Nova, and despite a lukewarm reaction from some, I really like the look of these.

So based on the fact that they don’t have a thread yet when a lot of people will still be asleep and we know nothing about rules or anything yet you think GW should be worried? I really don’t think that’s the ‘ominous sign’ you think it is, and it just seems like you think they’ll fail because you don’t like them.

I really don’t know how you can judge how well they’re going to sell. Tomb Kings didn’t sell because they weren’t updated (rules or models) for a long time, and when they were fantasy wasn’t doing well anyway and they didn’t have great rules post update. I don’t know how well Necrons do but it seems to be as good as any other Xenos army.

I really like the bone dudes. Much more than I was expecting. They’re quite Geiger-esque, which I’m a big fan of. The Mortarch makes me think of Xerxes from 300 (crossed with the Engineers from Alien/Prometheus) and I love the diorama base, although I can see why some people wouldn’t.

The actual page for the seminar on the Nova Open site says the seminar is 7-8:30, so the times on the WarCom site is the actual time the stuff should be on the community site.

No, it's just under 7 hours until 1am BST now, so 7 to 8 hours until the stuff is up depending on if they do it all in one go after or upload stuff as it's revealed.
