Nope. They’re generally more characterful versions of the infantry kits. I prefer them, most of the time.

Did they do one for Island of Blood too?

I’m kind of assuming they (and the Kymerae or whatever the Escher brute is called) will come out in Q2 with the House of Blades book, like how the Goliath ‘Zerker came out with their book.

Wasn’t the original shipping manifest for them Warscrolls Cards? That already put them in AoS, not just something for Warcry.

Not really. There was no mention of it being any different to a normal rumour engine. The tree here matches the ones on Teclis’s base. Plus we’re probably a couple of months out from release. Might still be a few weeks before we see it.

They recently showed the headdress thing from the spearmen a week or two before they revealed the models. The timescale from rumour engine to reveal is pretty variable.

Seems quite obviously Lumineth this week.

Old World is a completely different team to Age of Sigmar.

If you’re talking about the Blackstone Fortress thing, they’re existing e2b kits from when 8th Ed 40k came out repackaged for BSF, nothing new.

I’m not saying Eltharion won’t be a thing, just that I’m not sure something counts as a tie-in if there’s a 3 year delay between them!

Rumour Engine

Nah. They’ve just started a bi-weekly preview article for them. That would give them like 3 articles. I imagine they’ll be more of them than that (especially seeing as the next one is just looking at the foot troops).

Why? They aren’t going to release everything they show at the big events within a couple of weeks. At least you know it’s coming.

The Imperial Knights army literally launched with one kit, and that’s all they had for like 3 years.

I think any that do, are a coincidence. The text is meaningless. The one that was just revealed as the Zoat for example just had this text: ‘Behold the Rumour Engine! Can you predict what it is?’ Or this, from Vorkmortens coffin: ’With a crash of thunder and a flash of light, the Rumour Engine sends another image back through the vortex of time! Can you decipher this glimpse of the future?’ Most of them are just vague references to the engine itself or seeing the future.

That one is so bizarre I can’t wait to see what it turns out to be. Definitely wouldn’t be surprised if it is Lumineth.
