leaksjokes are always funny, but I had forgotten about the BFG rumours and I got all giddy again thinking about a reworked BFG. If I can't have decent GW ship battles, I'm fine with having decent GW spaceship battles! 🤩I'd love to see Battlefleet again and really surprised why GW don't do a print to order with it (and other games) from time to time.

Firstly thanks for getting back to rumours folks but I do have to address a couple of points based on recent posts.1) Tactics belong in other topics not the rumour thread
2) @The_Tallest_Ork we treat everybody with respect here and not sneering at people about tactics. If this is something you are going to struggle with, this isn’t the forum for you.
Back to rumours about made up things like rat men. No such thing 😉

I think 100% this is what will happen. It will either be an additional ability mentioned in the rules for the Spearhead or as something that appears on their warscroll. They've done similar things with Combat Patrol for 40K where they have simplified abilities or changed things.

Not sure this will impact things much but Monday 6th is a Bank Holiday in the UK, so the reveal may be for something else that's not a big release?

I don't think it was a failure as I think it made a lot of money. But I think you are right about it winding down due to Amazon agreement.
Personally, I've never used Warhammer+ but that's mainly because of how difficult it was to stream it to a 8 year old TV. I don't want to watch stuff on a laptop screen when I have a TV.

I think there is an element of that but I suspect they like to operate on a FOMO model as it means that they mostly sell out of most stuff and don't have any stock sitting around on shelves or in warehouses. The issue is that they aren't super agile to respond to demand in some cases but I think this is a capacity issue and they can't change what they are making on the production schedule easily.

I think fit in your hobby time when you can but I'd personally have a break for a while. Sounds like you are demotivated due to the upcoming changes and painting things because you have them. If you are fed up with Orruks, sell them or put them into storage

Just echo @Chikout but I do want to add that it's a hobby not a job/task.
I struggle with motivation but a large part of that is a combination of work and family life, which has been very hectic for me at the moment.
Want examples?
We've recently had a dog and busy toilet training it at the moment which is a nightmare. It had never been outside and the person we had it from just let it do it's business on the floor (basically it was a 'accident' to their Crufts winning dog and they were doing the bear minimum). And of course we got the stubborn gobby one!
Second example is my wife washed the wireless thermostat for the boiler in the washing machine (don't ask how). So that was a fun couple of hours trying to calm my wife down, hope the thermostat dried out enough to work and then getting the thing to connect correctly. It works at moment....
So don't get stressed about getting stuff done. Do it when you want to and enjoy it

I think it's because it was a big change from the 90s Crab Claw Daemonettes. The current plastics are okay but I think they do look dated although the aesthetic is about right in my opinion.

Agreed. I doubt they will ship a model with the magazine now probably due shelf space and shipping.

Not expecting an article today for new AOS. I'm thinking now it's just going to be Monday's and Thursday's with a sprinkling of more articles closer to May when they let people play the game at the demo shows.

I imagine the Warhammer Community Team have a couple of people writing articles and probably a team lead who does the editing. Makes you wonder how far in advance the articles are written and in what order they are written. I imagine the bulk of the "This is how X works or has changed" were pre-written and the article of which models are being removed was a recent thing.

I've already for a few models that'd make great Slaaneshi priests...
I'm kind of hoping we will also see a unit of priests (or the champion is) as it would create a bit of variety. Just keep it simple like they buff themselves.

Personally I think it's something they needed. When Stormcast first appeared and they were hidden behind faceplates, I thought they would be disfigured monsters but they weren't.
Really like these. But we have a BUT.....
I think the Javelins should be painted in a glowing aether effect!
