Are there any units out there that benefit the player (or at least hurt the foe) when slain?
For instance, if you had some squigs that would explode from failed battleshock, could you maybe use the Soulseeker to create a bomb?
Put a sacrificial Razorgor on it for a 40 pts Bloodtithe point.

BloodTithe is over for another year and below are the final standings. Going into round 5 any one of 7 teams had a realistic chance of winning and in the end it came down to a tiebreaker. In the end 4 Masters 1 Cup just edged Marauders 'A' comprising of:
Darren Watson (Chaos)
Dan Bradshaw (BoC)
Dan Ford (Khorne)
Will Barton (IDK)Best International team was 'Revenge for Joan of Arc' captained by the formidable @Sarhantaï
Best Army was @Paul Buckler followed by @HadrielCaine and Alex Nygard.
Best Sports were Ninja Badgers with 5 votes! @Paul Buckler @Lhw (who else) @Rich_B @Fireborn33(steve c)?
We had a full compliment of 96 players throughout the weekend making my life easy, woohoo! You can see a huge about of pictures from the weekend by searching #Bloodtithe on Twitter and Rob filmed many interviews and lots of table action - check him out at https://thehonestwargamer.com/ and tune into his AoS channel every monday : www.twitch.tv/thehonestwargamer

My plan is to run a 3 drop 19 unit list to basically get up early with rapid centigors and chariots, force the opponent into killing them - accruing hopefully 7 Blood Tithe points then activating Relentless Fury to explode Bestigors all over the table backed up by a duo of Bloodsecrators.
Have you played it much?
-
Has anyone played Brass Despoilers in a Khorne allegiance army? I'm one converted unit of Centigors away from having my army built but as I've done it during a busy time it's power is all based on supposition and 'feelings' ha ha.
-
Thanks yes - it should be a good one coming soon after what we would expect to be GHB2019, plus lots of emphasis on getting a great spread of armies.

A call to mercenaries!
If anyone is free and eager to experience the highs and lows of worlds keenest fought team competition, but doesn't have a team, please DM me. It can be the case as the time nears that teams experience losses of players for this reason or that. If you want to go on a list of available players please let me know. Likewise, tables will be set up for spare players if you want to come down for a day - you'll have a great days gaming and be well fed and watered!

If i was going to change anything I would try and squeeze in 10 Night Runners to mitigate Gavriel / Ell spam / 1 drop Sylvaneth

Hello fellow ratfans! I played a Skaven heavy Mixed Chaos list at Blood and Glory last weekend coming a respectable 33/165. Here was the list I took:
Allegiance: Chaos
Daemonsmith (100)
- General
- Darkforged Weapon
- Trait: Cunning Deceiver
- Artefact: Crown of Conquest
Verminlord Deceiver (300)
Verminlord Warpseer (260)
Chaos Sorcerer Lord (160)
- Mount: Steed
- Runestaff
40 x Clanrats (200)
- Rusty Blade
40 x Clanrats (200)
- Rusty Blade
20 x Clanrats (120)
- Rusty Blade
6 x Tzaangor Enlightened on Disc (280)
1 x Warpfire Thrower Weapon Team (70)
Deathshrieker Rocket Launcher (120)
Magma Cannon (140)Total: 1950 / 2000
Extra Command Points: 1
Allies: 0 / 400
Wounds: 173The Skaven components worked very well and none of them came away from the event on the chopping block. I feel like it's impossible to consider a list without the Crown of Conquest, and whilst the Verminlord Deceiver does a lot of work in combat (not to mention baby-sitting the Enlightened) the Warpeer is always MVP for me - so versatile! The 3d6 giant rats for 1 CP come in so handy for so many things; screens, bodies on objectives, teleport denial etc. The Warpfire Weapon Team was also a great defensive unit - always worth it's meagre points.

In a competitive environment it's worse. Death, as you say have pluses to unbind, Khorne have many unbinds, Sylvaneth have bonuses to unbind. Even Destruction with a Troll Hag can stimey your casting.

Quick question, how does the skaven generals around here interpret the legality of having an archwarlock on a balewind being skitterleaped away? Best case scenario he reappears with a balewind under him? As far as I read on the endless spell's scroll, both are treated as one model with all of the text of each and thus is a targetable skaven hero. Thoughts?
That's fine, it's considered and treated as a single model. You may also like to skitterleap into some large terrain for the +2 to save. The only caveat with this (and presume you mean the Arch Warlock) is that you might struggle to get spells off these days with so much anti magic around, and usually you don't want to expose him if he's donning the Crown of Conquest.

Have you ever skitterleaped the rat while on top a vortex? I'm curious how that plays out. Especially if you can teleport right next to arcane terrain to begin with.
This is a legitimate move. I played a tournament last weekend and I though having a Balewind I infrequently managed to get it off, even when I wanted to, and when I did I myself had to dispel it to involve the General in the objective game. Also, out of 18 attempts at casting Lightning Storm I got it off twice. There is so much anti magic around, and so many armies with powerful dispels that I now consider our magic as incidental rather than anything to strategise with. I really think those 90 points of Endless spells can be better spent on something you have full control over.

Leaders
Arch Warlock (140)
Warlock Engineer (100)
Screaming Bell (200)
Battleline
40 x Clanrats (200)
- Rusty Spear
20 x Clanrats (120)
- Rusty Blade
20 x Clanrats (120)
- Rusty Blade
Units
20 x Plague Monks (140)
- Foetid Blades
20 x Plague Monks (140)
- Foetid Blades
War Machines
Warp Lightning Cannon (180)
Warp Lightning Cannon (180)
Endless Spells
Balewind Vortex (40)
Total: 1560 / 2000
Extra Command Points: 8
Allies: 0 / 400
Wounds: 155
How would you finish this list to 2k?It's light on heroes and particularly spell casters. The Verminlord Warpseer would be a nice addition for 260. Good spell, free giant rats etc. You could then upgrade one of the 20's of Clan Rats or Plague Monks and still have points left over for maybe another character or endless spells and / or a spare command point to do an early summon. Presume you're also taking Crown of Conquest on the Arch Warlock. Don't forget the Balewind can go on terrain for a +1 save.

Ben do you have a date when you can update the pack with Realm information and info around the smaller point games? On a practical level it may or may not dictate my purchase / painting list.

Not a fan of this. The simplicity of quickly theorising lists with round numbers is major plus.
