  4. Hi folks. Previous entrants to Northern Invasion will be aware of the videos we produce in the run up to the weekend. We have the round 1 draw scheduled for tomorrow night and a link will be posted on here soon after. As most announcements are made through Twitter due to the ease of it, I will try to put links to videos at least. Anyway, we have been asking patrons of our Facebook page and podcast (due to launch next week) for ideas on new ruse cards for 2018. The ideas can be heard here:

  14. The initial tickets have all been sold out but we will be able to release an additional 12 tickets soon. Prizes have been acquired and sponsorship is firmed up. Once everything has been received, details will be released and the additional tickets released. We we have built on our relationship with previous sponsors and are particularly excited about the support and prizes we will be able to offer this year. More information will will follow soon.

  20. 25/26 August- Common Ground Games, Stirling 5 games over 2 days using forces of 2k pts, selected using the matched play parameters in the Generals Handbook: 1 Blood and Glory 2. Take and Hold 3. Focal Points 4. Three Places of Power 5. Escalation There will be plenty of prizes and awards and the free raffle will make a welcome return. More information on sponsorship will follow. The draft pack will be released on 1st July and will be fixed at the onset of August. Tickets are limited to 44 due to venue capacity. Tickets cost £30 and include lunch and breakfast donuts on both days (payment by PayPal to PayPal.me/Stuwest). There will be pick up games and shenanigans on the Friday night and a social on the Saturday. Tickets can be transferred to others or can be refunded minus a £5 fee before 25th July. Any cancellations after that cannot be refunded owing to cost of prizes and giveaways. Any questions, please ask. Northern Invasion results will count toward Scottish, Northern and Uk rankings.
