  1. I don't have enough knowledge on Ironjawz story but I think I can recall that instead of retreating Old World they stayed and fought Chaos for millennias which is super cool. And now they are done kind of fungus? That's also crazy and makes them some sort of force of nature instead of just mindless barbarians.
  2. Given how AoS tends to twist every traditional concept (dwarfs the most mobile army in the game - Kharadrons, elves tough as rock equipped with hammers) maybe we will witness diplomatic orcs. Imagine that is their actual name instead of Kruel Boyz. Destruction Battletome: Diplomats and Scholars. On the front page an Orc wearing glasses, white wig and a gown.
  3. Now that you mention you made me want swamp faction terrain for them.
  4. Is there some kind of registry about when certain armies were introduced to Warhammer? Or year production of minis? IS there a way to check f.e. when current Bonesplitterz models were firstly lunched?
  5. I think that Broken Realms Kragnos won't be released before 3.0 presentation. If the new breed of orcs worship him then probably there will be a lot of information regarding them in BR Kragnos.
  6. So it's probably an icon or banner of this new breed of orcs that worship Kragnos.
  7. Maybe it's the face of the warboss' mount?
  8. Regarding White Dwarf: do they still publish these small factions like Squig Allegiance or Troggoth Allegiance?
  9. I see it exactly opposite. Now, after separation, goblins can thrive can expand and depict their very personality. When they were part of orcs they were in my opinion treated as handicapped addons, a nuisance. Now Gloomspite Gitz are a great force on their own. I'm a happy owner of GG and would hate if they were merged again with orcs.
  10. I agree with every single line. Have Mortal Khorne and Sylvaneth. Rules favoring daemons really have no sense and it can be seen across Khorne, Tzeentch and Nurgle. Not sure about Slaanesh.
  11. Better later than never. Imagine how this game would have been better without Hearthguard, eel, Witches and all other spams in the game. Basically without spammers thinking they are pros.
  12. You release long awaited vampire army with tons of new models. Firstly you release Cursed City with mostly unplayable models in AoS. Then you announce a Start Collecting box with a load of ancient models and ONE new figure. What's going on with GW...
  13. My problem with Soulblight Gravelords is that zombies and Deathrattle didn't receive enough models. These new are just great but I think that this army lacks other zombie and skeleton heroes and elites. Something like Gothizzar Harvester. And heroes like Gorslav who should have been released outside CC box. That's when I can consider Gravelords again. Current range, especially heroes is not my taste.
  14. I'm a bit worried they will be just generic orcs, same as we see in pop culture for like 30 last years but still have faith in AoS team that they won't be boring.
  15. Thanks, good idea. I still have one spare units of immortis to assemble.
  16. So it's decided. If I can have minis that are really inspired by slavic culture, Polish Commonwealth in particular, I must contribute to this project. Can't wait for The Old World.
  17. That's just mean for CC owners regarding zombies.
  18. We are just joking this way. No psycho fans among my group at least. I still take pleasure in playing my Sylvaneth, though it is considered the weakest army there is at the moment. Although while playing Sylvaneth you might lose four games out of five, it is the fifth time when you win, makes you feel like king of AoS.
  19. @Overread Thanks for some information among other systems. When you put it that way... I mean, I don't want the lore to suffer. I bought 3 Broken Realms Books just for lore and surely will as well buy Kragnos for the same reason. But i think we all agree that rules are not updated often enough. Sometimes a unit is in a great need of changing its rules and until next battletome it might be useless. From armies I collect I can call Kurnoth Hunters with Bows, Glaivewraith Stalkers, Mortisan Soulreaper, Vokmortian - they are all practically dead since their last battletome and need improvements. One way to do that is to release books like Broken Realms and update certain warscrolls more often. But is this enough?
  20. I think it's about time to consider online rules instead of traditional battletomes. I know that these paper battletomes have their own charm. I really love them. Currently I have like 7 or 8. But then it's really disappointing to wait like 2-3 years for a faction to get updated, either buffed or nerfed. Kharadron Overlords or Sylvaneth players should understand this perfectly, when their armies where mostly unplayable for a long time. I think Seraphon and Lumineth players also understand that being "that guy" in the group is not fun either (some do however...). Now if we had online rules any underpowered or overpowered unit could be fixed within days. Then again people spend a lot of money on their minis and want to feel stable with their purchase for a while. Tough decisions...
  21. In my AoS playing group we joke that rules writers should have their name written down on the front page so we could know what kind of power level to expect. "You bought a battletome from writer A? Ahhh, I can't match that with my battletome from writer B. How about this time you bring your old army with battletome from writer B so we can both have fun?"
  22. @novakai Yes, I see your point. I would gladly see Deathriders go down in points. Their only role is to move for objectives. Yet I still think that Blood Knights will turn out underpriced considering their warscroll alone, not to mention probable buffs from allegiance and spells, command abilities etc.
  23. 😄 Kavalos Deathriders 10 points cheaper than Blood Knights with better save, higher damage, able to heal themselves, able to move out of 3" without penalty, mortal wounds on the move, possible to set up anywhere on the battlefield and able to upgrade upon killing something. Imagine them if they were 20 points more expensive. 😮
