  1. Fair enough. You should read the books. They are pretty awesome.
  2. Hey, I appreciate all your seemingly accurate rumours but the title of the book has been known since the black library open day last year if not before.
  3. Hey there. I found something in the wilds of the Internet. Our first look at the design of the new Stormcast and confirmation of them fighting Nighthaunt. I think that is the knight of Shrouds and not one of the new infantry kits, but it certainly adds further credence to the rumours of a new box set. The book is Soul Wars by the way. Cant wait to read it . There is also an awesome looking cover for the follow up to City of Secrets by Nick Horth.
  4. I don’t think we will see anything for AOS in May unless it is the tail end of the idoneth release. I think we will get Harlequins alongside a later idoneth week. Then in May we will get bloodbowl, imperial knights and probably gang war 3 for Necromunda. The next AOS release will probably arrive in June.
  5. Actually there are two more events where GW will do previews. The first is warhammer fest on the 12th and 13th of May, and the second is at the UK games expo where they have a seminar on Friday the 1st of June. Both of these events will probably have a mixture of aos, 40k and forgeworld/specialist games stuff. GW is really going all out on preview events this year. I wouldn't expect too much brand new from the aos open day as it is a rescheduled event.
  6. We have 2 Eidolons, 2 deepmare riders including 1 character, 2 eels , 2 infantry units, the allpoex, the Levidon, and 4 on foot characters. At the reveal video we didn’t see the other Eidolon or the other deepmare rider. It is kind of a shame as a bigger range is always better, but we still get 7 box sets, 4 clampacks and a scenery kit which is comfortably the biggest single release for AOS so far. (The Stormcast have had 3 waves of releases)
  7. The thralls are not soulless. They all have congenital soul defects. The raids are done to acquire unwilling soul essence donors.
  8. @HorticulusTGA I find it really hard to believe that gw will delay the Ork codex so much, especially as they are putting them out at such a rate (5 already this year). I expect them to finish all the new versions of existing 40k codexes by the end of the summer. I mainly wrote that list to show that there is not much space for a moonclan or a darkoath book until next year. If we do get a surprising release at the end of the year it will most likely be for 40k.
  9. By goofy I take you mean awesome and by ruin I take it you mean enhance!!!!! The turtle moves!
  10. So I have been doing a bit of thinking about the rest of the year and it seems at this point that we can pretty accurately predict what is coming for the rest of the year. So far confirmed we have April- Deepkin and Shadespire Spring -bloodbowl chaos, Van saar Necromunda, imperial Knights with minis, Harlequins, deathwatch. Summer- aos magic, nighthaunt, new bloodbowl and Necromunda, genestealer cults, orks, space wolves Autumn new bloodbowl and Necromunda, adeptus Titanicus (99% confirmed) ghb2018 Winter- chapter approved 2018 No date yet- kill team with new scenery, Shadespire season 2 Not confirmed but highly likely : New aos starter, new stormcast minis and book, ork minis, scenery bundles, new battleforces Possible: new 40k legion, space Wolf minis, Gorkamorka That schedule does not leave much room for surprises. I think therefore that we will not see another battletome after stormcast/ nighthaunt in 2018.
  11. News time! New shadespire warbands go up for pre-order on April 7th. Maybe that means we will get season 2 soon.
  12. Care of shadeglass.co.uk. The next two warbands are out on April 14th. Season 2 in the summer perhaps?
  13. Aren't the Dark Eldar just Dark Elves ported into 40k? I am pretty sure they used the Dark Eldar colour scheme first.
  14. Adding one damage to the stormshoal would be pretty good. 2d6 attacks with 2 damage and a 3 inch range would be great against hordes.
  15. Ooh. I just gasped out loud on a Japanese convenience store! I like that alternate head on the avatar a lot better.
  16. It is 40k scenery. The plastic has that slightly shiny finish to it the the other scenery plastic has.
  17. I feel like it is more than a little early to start panicking. Even if everything rumoured is true, we don't know how these rules will interact with other elements of the game, especially magic. We could easily have more magical opportunities to buff or debuff combats or ways to deny or influence charges. Thematically going first after a successful charge makes sense. This makes positioning for both attackers and Defenders more important. There is so far no indication that piling in will change so there are plenty of tricks you could use to counter a charge. In subsequent phases alternating activations would presumably happen as they do now.
  18. While you are answering questions, have you heard anything about Moon Clan?
  19. I am very curious how they are going to handle new stormcast. They did a battletome, then a mini battletome, then a third battletome that brings it all together. Are they going to do another mini battletome, and if so will they introduce new battleline units to make it viable or reprint some of the warscrolls from the main book or something else? Miniature wise each subsequent version of the stormcast has got better, so, despite the inevitable cries of despair at more Stormcast and more Order, I am looking forward to seeing them.
  20. Well if battletome Malignants is next, just wanted to say that I called it 2 months ago!!! (Though this may be a little early for gloating). Very curious to see how many kits they get. A dual build troop choice which will look exactly like that Shadespire card, a multibuild black coach kit and .....? One more kit would put them in line with daughters of Khaine, sylvaneth etc.
  21. If you look at this pic you can see that the shark is quite a bit fatter and on a different base. It is definitely a different kit.
  22. Exactly 120 more cards, so 10 factions this time then. I am really glad this has done well enough to get a season two. I have all six warbands currently available but collecting 18 sounds like a lot. I may have to start being selective especially as I will be investing hundreds of pounds into the Deepkin.
  23. Looking at that video I count. Foot guys (dual build?) Archers (dual build?) Eels (dual build!) Big eels with two riders (dual build?) Big turtle (4 builds apparently) Big water cloak guy (dual build apparently ) Sea horse guy Big helmet pilot light guy Octopus bodyguard lady Jumping lady Bald staff guy. Scenery. That is eleven kits so far. GW have confirmed there is more we haven't seen yet. Guess that 8 kit rumour was false. What an amazing release. This will be the army I spend the next two years building and painting for sure.
  24. Those Idoneth look absolutely stunning and I can't wait to see the full black coach picture . It really is shaping up to be an amazing year for Age of Sigmar.
  25. I am going to say idoneth Deepkin which is a holdover from the AOS open day so doesn’t count as one of the three. New AOS starter set featuring all new death faction and a new Stormcast chamber, Slaanesh versus sisters of battle campaign biz and a full Adeptus titanicus unveiling.
