  1. Really nice colour scheme!

I love how you have put little accents of all the colours into the base as well.

I dont know whether its something you were planning to do, from reading your post it seems you need this done quick, but if you could get some OSL action happening on the flames and glowy blue bits it would really cap it off.  Perhaps a quick belt with the airbrush?

Great work steve, very impressive result.

  2. I like the new multicoloured spot colours!  Really helps make things pop as well as being very tribal Seraphon looking.

One thing I may suggest is to try to get some more of the stronger blue that is on the skinks onto the dino.  Perhaps only on the top half of the body.  Will really help tie things together and give them a more cohesive look.

  3. Nice!

Could be the lighting but I did worry that things were getting a bit lost on the display base.  Can be something that people often overlook.  Allarielle as a centre piece does become a nice focal point which saves it however.

    Good luck at Adepticon! :)

  4. I agree that the paint applied is a bit thick.  I am guessing its to stay vivid on top of the dark armour.

A quick way to get around this may be to undercoat in white (not sure if you did or not) and then paint in the dark armour around the undercoat, tidying up mistakes as you go.  The armour patches are quite large whereas the white parts are quite fiddly so you may find this an easier prospect.  You get to keep your pure white as well as not making the application look to thick.

Nice colour scheme though.  I always enjoy seeing the bloodbound with alternative paint schemes. :)

  5. I like this!  Nice use of different spot colours.

This is a great tabletop standard but if you were looking to elevate the blending here a real quick way to do this, regarding the skin tone, would be to do a diluted wash of Screamer Pink or even Emperor's children.  A thin wash of the slightly darker tone will really blend in your hilights.

Load up the brush with a good amount of wash and apply it to the skin.  It will look really bad until it dries, so a fair amount of faith is required, but when it is finally dry it will astound you how much it will graduate the tone so that you end up with a much smoother blend for what seems like very little extra work.

Have an experiment first if you have never tried this before but I think you will be surprised how much this technique could elevate your painting.  Also the richer tone of one of the colours I have suggested will help give it all a bit more warmth and as a result more pop.

    Once again though great work!
