  1. The one on the right looks like it could be a Bonereaper Bowman, that would be really cool.
  2. Just wanted to make a thread about what you enjoy about the Age of Sigmar setting and lore. Feel free to make your answer as long or short as possible.
  3. New Cursed City articlehttps://www.warhammer-community.com/2021/03/11/this-warhammer-quest-cursed-city-hero-is-so-old-he-probably-calls-you-whippersnapper/
  4. There are a few AoS video games in development, Stormground, Tempest fall, and one yet unnamed one by the developers of Elite Dangerous.
  5. Hello everyone, I'm back with more information and speculation. First up this excerpt from Direchasm A few interesting thing of note from this 1. The Silent People are an Intelligent migratory species that worked in symbiosis with Beastgrave and other Sentient Mountains (likely in Ghur) 2. They are connected to the the cycles of Ghur, bringing the treasures they have amassed into cells, such as the Direchasm to let Amber cover them so that they can pupate 3. The premature awakening of Beastgrave/Direchasm has left them in a Larval stage, forcing them to flee and abandon the relics they have gathered The most important facts mentioned about the Silent People that leads me to believe they are Insectoid rather than some human bug enthusiasts, is the life cycle of Larva, Pupa, and as hinted at by the twitching statues and clicking noises, fully grown Silent People. They also seem to share a some aspects, such as migration and mound building, in comin with Ant and Termites There connection to Amber actually reminds me particularly of the more recently discovered prehistoric Hell Ant.
  6. Just from this little blurb, I already love his personality.
  7. This is true however I will say this, even if it is just background lore to make the setting more interesting it's still lot's of fun to discuss the mystery. Even though I doubt they will become an army any time soon, I would still like both the Silent People and the Katophranes to get model representation because I personally think they would be interesting designs and ad to whatever GA they became a part of.
  8. https://www.tga.community/forums/topic/27811-silent-people-speculation/ Made a thread for the Silent People decision for anyone interested
  9. Alright I've been meaning to make this thread for a while now but now seems the best time as to not clog up the rumor thread. In this thread I would like to discuss what we know about the Silent People based off the existing facts and information we have about them. So here's everything I could find related to them, please enjoy.
  10. Destruction could be seen as a pantheon as well. We got Gorkamorka and his incarnation as the Gulping God and Suneater, Behemat, Ravenak, Da Spider God, Da Badmoon, and there has even been mentions of Da Evil Sun.
  11. I agree with most of what you have said here, a highly industry focused Destruction faction is also big on my wish list. But I have a problem with the "ugly people" part, most Destruction models are beautiful, Order has the market cornered on ugly people.
  12. I don't think other factions should or will be moved to Destruction, I just want something new and original and the Silent People would be perfect for that.
  13. I really hope that this is Silent People and not just a Sylvaneth spryt. Destruction really needs more outside of Greenskins and Ogors, and as someone who loves Entomology, an Insectoid faction would be an instant buy for me.
  14. What's this about a Robot?! I need to know more
  15. In terms of player character expansions, here is a wish list 1: Undead character, could be a vampire, necromancer, skeleton, nighthaunt, Bonereaper, fleshgolem, or any other macabre character 2. Destruction Character, could be anything ( I have a bias, sue me) 3. Chaos character, hopefully something on the more subtle end like the skaven or Warcry warbands (Unmade are from Shyish afterall) 4. Something completely different, Golemkind, Silent People, Zoat, or something completely new
  16. Case closed then. On an unrelated note, apparently genestealers make an appearance in Blood Bowl: death on the pitch
  17. This is definitely true, one of my biggest complaints with my Destruction army's is the lack of synergy between subfractions. Big Waaagh kinda has it but even still I feel it could be better, as well as allowing mono-subfactions to be good.
  18. This is just a bit of speculation but what if Gravelords is split into 3 sub groups like Gloomspite Gitz? For example you would have Soulblight, Deathrattle , and Necromancer/Zombies
  19. I don't think that's necessarily true, yes they where and are extremely important in liberation and founding of cities. But to say they are the only faction is disingenuous, FS held there ground throughout the age of Chaos, DoK have been extremely important in recent events, LRL have kept Hysh safe, Death invaded the 8 points, Destruction has kept Ghur nearly chaos death and chaos free, and that's just a few examples.
