Oh man... THIS is a great question... I mean... not to go broke or anything, but dang it, I'm leaning towards one of each and 2x Bladelords. Definitely 2x blade lords. I so want to have them with LoE and get some slice n dice going on. But then again, to focus on the Wind Temple is very tempting! And less $$. I guess it's a good problem to have? So, if one was to go Go with the Wind, you'd get what? The Hurakan, Wind Mage, Wind Spirit, and all the heroes? (and Bladelords, cause blade lords!!) Now, HEALING?!?! Just wow. Now, How does healing work in AoS? Am I to read that as: heal wounds on a Hero (ie single model) , or regain models in a troop? Or only heal at the end of a combat? But since it's a spell, you can only cast it during the Hero phase yes? And being a new player to AoS/Lumineth, what's NPE?

Well, the Dawnriders only get one melee with their lance, so seems to fit the style so far. WiIl it have something like the Deathly Furrows ability that the Dawnriders have? BUT its a missile and a melee weapon. So does that mean it can attack in both of those rounds?!? (and I like his command point generation!) And how the Altairi Blade gains damage as the game goes on? Hmmmm. nice! All to be REVEALED!! So excited.

I feel that the Wardens and Sentinels are pretty well sized.... (except for those spears!!!)... and are they not on 32mm? And their awesome two handed swords do look like they stick out (again, not as much as spears but...) so maybe they will be "appropriately" sized.

Dude! Go for it! Blue/White cloth with gold highlights along side Gold Armor/Silver Scales? This looks like a simple, clean paint scheme. (and excellent PS skills there ;))

Alrighty!! Mostly finished up the test of the Iliatha Warden! Think it looks pretty dang good! Next up .... the trial of putting together my Sentinels... large.mov

These cases look great!! Im a wee bit jealous of the Tablewar (and the magnetic BattleFoam ones) cases. I almost did the foam thing... ( I did it for my SW:Legion...) for the LRL. But, inspired by the Duncan Rhoades thing, I went out got the tubs! So I tried to do the Magnetic Sheets at the bottom, but for whatever reason they just didn't work. I've got some great magnets N54 strength, but they are not ON/Direct Contact the sheets...but no hold.... Instead I got a steel sheeting from Home Despot, cut it and hot glued it in. and now everything sticks! The Really useful Bins are very cool. I got 2 4L, 2 9L, and 2 19L. Just to cover the bases, can always use bins... I also got some reusable grocery bags to carry them in. The 2L are for the Wardens, Sentels (anything under 3in). The 9L for slightly taller things like Spells, Dawnriders, LoE (and maybe the Blademasters?!). The 19L (Basically a File Folder holder) is deep enough for the Man Spirits and Teclis. The other 2L fits my books and dice and stuff as well. If anyone wants some measurements let me know...

OK.... that was a very cool read..... my big take away..... "Flatulence as an act of Chaos! " So so true... but did anyone else get a bit of the "something wicked this way comes" vibe from it? I love playing the elves so far, but boy they sure are asshats. I mean, our benevolent protectors. And the ending.... does it foreshadow a conflict between the Twin Gods and Sigmar? Aelf v Human? Enlightenment v Self Determination? All will be revealed...

OK! Here's those pic of the Lumineth Coins I 3D printed... Still playing around with the colors but so far so good! The Middle one is the cardboard ones from the boxed set, for comparison. These are the Lumineth Token and the Realmstone token from Warcry. Oh man.... this is kinda making me a wee bit giddy that we could see them end of March/start of April!?! 😱🤑💸 And speaking of coins.... I’ve found some on thingverse that are way sweet. Go there and search for Warcry tokens or maybe even Age of Sigmar. The designer has almost all the factions avail to download for free. I’ve been having trouble keeping track of who’s cast, who’s used their aether.... etc. so I’ve printed some out ( along with a token from Warcry for Aetherq). Here a shot of different sizes. Think they are 50mm/40mm, 32mm, and 25mm... I liked the 25mm version and printed and painted them. I’ll get and post a pic of them shortly. But I’m still damn tempted to get that cool coin... cause it’s not like I’m not gonna blow great wads of cash on these models. 💸💸💸

Now, I'm almost done with my 10 sentinels (and maybe 10 more...), and am looking ahead to my last set of Wardens. I usually do a "troop" in the Alt Ymetrica scheme, then any others in whatever scheme..... For my other 10 Wardens, I want to try the Iliathia scheme (Orange/Red/White). And to continue my "design" I'm using Color Shift paints on the robes. SO! Here's some samples for my Robes: Base coated with Monumental Hobbies Pro Acrylic's burnt Orange. Then lovingly coated with color shifts: Nebula Copper from Green Stuff World, and Floor is Lava and Afterburner from TurboDork. I'm leaning towards Afterburner.... Thoughts?

I second this idea. I painted the collar/sleeve/robe all the same color, which helps tie it all in. And as said above, this would add some "light" to the upper area.

I’m gonna be eating beans and toast for months after this release.... anyone else looking forwards to the ballista knocking the snot outta some hidden hero after the spells are cast!?! ;) And the Windmage..... all over it. Now do I go full Wind? Or Half wind Half Alarith? Cause I really want to do both...lol a Wind “squad” and an Alarith “squad” with some Wardens and Sentinels to poke the bear..... all depending on points of course.....

I thin I've posted this elsewhere and maybe here too... but I too have mixed feelings about the Cathallar model. I made a stand in (since she wasn't avail yet) out of a Tidecaster, Witch, water elemental, and a spear from somewhere... I still >might< get the actual model. But until then this is my stand in.

Agreed! The only thing I’m getting between now and the new release is a set of Sentinels. So I have 20... Can’t wait to get the new Blademasters to help support LoE, and the Cavalry Archers! so excited!

Very very cool article indeed! I really like the reveal that, like the mountains, you can either do a Named or Unnamed Spirit. This is a very cool theme, and look forward to the other Spirits! Not sure which version of the Hurakan I'd want to build by the looks of them, but how am I going to paint his arrow tip to look like THAT! And then, one day, we shall all be blown away by a Zenith Spirit.... in what... 4 years?!?!

As I have only played 3 games so far, and those were at 1k points (due to units I have).... I only have 10 sentinels. My wound output from the ten was... horrible. Now, I mostly have myself to blame, since I apparently can't roll AT ALL!!! As I'm new, and still wrapping my head around all the spells/rules, what is the combo of spells that give the Sentinels such a huge buff? I'm looking to get another set to 10 Sentinels, but want to run them as two 10 units, not as one 20. One of them, with a unit of Wardens, "should" hold an objective, behind a Prismatic Wall. While the other is the "sniper".... Now, off to sacrifice another plastic chicken to the dice gods.....

So... with the newest (awesome) preview, what is the usual timeframe from Preview to Purchase? @SirSalabean, And as @Aelfric and @LuminethMage say, books are part of the price of admission. You don't have to buy all the models (right?! you don't HAVE to, but ... c'mon we all do;P) but the books..? Most of the info is avail free, but going digital might be a bit more budget friendly. The LRL book is what, $40, but $17 digital (via the Azyr App, its still $35 on Warhammer digital ).... So maybe go digital on both? I'm considering getting the digital copy of the new BR:Teclis book, and save up for the models. However, I really do enjoy the books feel, the art, the maps, as LuminethMage says.

As @LuminethMage said in his close up, and I agree... I >think< the LRL on the left side of the image, surrounding the Arch, are Blademasters. I'm not too familiar with past Blademasters, but these look like the model from Underworlds. Mmmm... dual kit blademasters..... Gosh.... do I need to get the Underworlds models as well..?

All of this banter has made me EXCITED for Saturday. I was looking forwards to it but now.... I regards to the multi model idea: GW did just release a dual model in Morathi? Right? What is the precedent for them to release something similar for another faction to “balance” things? What IF the wind spirit is like that? And is there a model that comes with its own “spells” (looking at the mini hurricane models ideas!!!) And having a way to deploy across the board via a “wind storm” or whatever could be awesome. Blade masters would be killer... I really wish for some melee accomplices for Eltharion to make him a terror. and I wonder what the Blank spot will be on the Preview? What new Logo/game is coming our way? They’ve been teasing the return of Old World..... but I feel it’s a bit early for that? Sorry for the rambling. Can’t wait till Sat!!

Well that's quite the preview of the preview!! How nice of GW to bust out the real photos. Lmao at the Potato Camera! And... They look really good. IMHO. And I'm digging the Lord Regent! Just hoping that they are just slightly easier to build than the Dawnriders. I'm not expecting them to be, but hoping they are.
