Mate I am speechless. Truly your work is incredible you should post this everywhere you can. GW should hire you for displays at Warhammer World if not just an outright designer. Sweet Sigmar they are beautiful.

I agree, we will see a new leaner Dracoth model, and a deeper dive into the Gothic look established with Ionus.

Me too!! Hopefully there isnt a knock on effect and Book V comes out next month.

I absolutely love the narrative and cannot wait to see what mysteries are teased for 4.0.

At this point we are only halfway through the Crusade and so much has been teased and has happened!!

Nope. I will admit the model didnt do it for me. I was hoping for him to be unique, maybe even taller than the other builds.

Considering how 80% of the kit is the exact same as the others and he being THE character and centrepiece for the Faction I was dissapointed.

But at the end of the day the main reason is pricing. £130 for a single mini is so much money.

I started with Stormcast. 14k points on sprue, as I was waiting to move house, and mainly because it was the closest to updated minis of CoS/ humans. Not long after I moved the CoS leaks started and I sold it (I even ended up earning money from that faction swap).

I thought CoS would be my only faction, but I really love the FEC lore and I bought it after seeing the new stunning models. As a note, I only buy models made for AoS.

Those are the only factions that I feel I could feel tempted to purchase. There are a few that I feel closer to than others, but they are not that much. There's one of them spiking over the rest which is Gloom, then Stormcast (if the range wouldn't be so massive...), and then Nurgle, NH, OBR, and Kharadron which are in an OK status to me. So I doubt I would ever be tempted to buy anything outside of CoS and FEC.

My problem? When I collect something I need to have it all in all its possible assemblies, so that leads me to moves like buying a complete Silvertower game just to get the Excelsior Warpriest or purchasing more battlelines just because they can wear more head options or different weapons 😅

Im buying the FEC Tome so that Death Faction is secured.

I have 3 completed Mega Gargants, Kraken Eater, Gatebreaker and Warstomper and unless they update the Mancrusher* that is as far as Ill take the Sons.

Ogors are my true love of the setting. Im waiting on their refresh before purchasing anymore minis as Ill need to save to buy the entire new range no doubt.

*I could see the Mancrusher being the kit for 4.0 for the Sons.

Loved every AOS and its worlds reveals.

After the Hydra talk the other day this Crone model is seriously making me consider Malerions Aelves when they release...

Also CALLIS AND TOLL YES!! They look incredible and cannot wait for their new novel.

@Whitefang confirming Book VI for Dawnbringers, a healthy updated to S2D AND Skaven? What a day indeed!!

Personally I think we've seen all there is for book 4 and we'll see book 5 which is a minimum of the Darkoath cavalry and a chaos hero.

My guess is that we'll see that plus Darkoath on foot, Callis and Toll and a DoK hero too.

Then we'll see Nighthaunt Vs Lumineth for warcry, Soulblight for Underworlds, solar Auxilithingy for 30k, ork box, custodes box and Kroot box for 40k and the mandrakes for Kill team.

That would be a massive show though.

They could keep some of the book 5 stuff and one of the 40k boxes back to show later. I do think we'll see everything that was in the new year videos.

I dont think its pessimistic per se Im just keeping my expectations low. I would love love love more!!

It would help flesh out each of the realms and it would also be great fodder for more Black Library AoS novels, of which there is a severe lack IMO. I really liked how the CoS touched on each of the realms within their Battletome and would like to see something similar in other faction battletomes, not only detailing significant settlements, but characters making an impact there.

Still waiting on Ogor Mawtribes to get a model for one of their two named characters in the setting!!
