  1. This really sounded like that’s it for now. Makes sense they showed the stater set, and everything we have seen so far.
  2. I think it’s more like this confirms that that’s that fro the range, why some people might be sad.
  3. Yup, they already updated the Lumineth mistakenly. We get Scinari Cathaller. (Edit not by mistake). And the people who thought she uses used aetherquartz were right. Beautiful model.
  4. Yes it was. And even if it wouldn’t be, Tyrion is blind, a sword wielding warrior and the Lumineth have a strong Asian influence. So GW easily could go with a blind samurai type of character. Like Acid I also hope that at least we get more information about Tyrion in the BT, even if he is not part of this release.
  5. Not everything is shown already, but we do not know a 100% if they reveal anything else for the Lumineth today. But it’s very likely that they do.
  6. They could use Azyr for the time being I guess. Or the lines in between the realms.
  7. Quoted from their advertisement of tomorrow’s preview: This can online interpreted in one way: We’ll see Tyrion tomorrow. RIGHT??? (eye twitch)
  8. The Phoenix Temple would fit so well from its background that it could actually be part of the Lumineth. And as the Idoneth were created by Teclis, there is also the possibility that they change the storyline in a way it would make sense that one of the kingdoms there could become an ally. But that leaves out mechanics, and we have no idea so far. They haven't given any hints about this matter at all.
  9. It's from the 1st Twitch preview. Until I knew the names of the nations, I couldn't understand what Phil said. But listening to them again after the Hysh article, you can hear him saying that the Stoneguard revere the everliving Ymetrica Longhorn (which is the beast shown on their flag), and that's why those mountain spirits look like they do. And that Avalenor comes from Ymetrica. It's both in the same interview, just mentioned a bit apart from each other.
  10. That sounds about right. I hope for B (with a bit question mark over Tyrion though), but sadly think it's A. Still, it would be strange if after all the talk about nations and the 4 elemental factions, if they then just release the basic troops and units from one of those (both the Stoneguard and Avalenor are from Ymetrica, so it looks like the nations and elements largely overlap, e.g. the mountain temple representing Ymetrica). In addition, they must at least have one more big "WOW" unit (big monster, war machine etc.) out there to show us. But who knows, we haven't received even the hint of a new unit for a long time (besides Scinari Cathaller), and nothing at all the whole week. Hopefully whatever scenario it is, they'll finally let us know the full range of units that they are going to release for the Lumineth this time. I'm on the opposite side of Sttufe, I'm not enjoying this drip-feeding at all anymore. There is other stuff out there that they could do to keep us interested after they revealed the range of units (mechanics, warscrolls, spells etc.)
  11. The Community Team just mentioned that tomorrow will be last such preview in April. Hopefully they finally show us the rest of range for this release.
  12. They seem to be something like that. You probably mean this quote here, right (from Lowdown 2)? In addition, one of the High Wardens they showed in that lowdown had a wand-like object in his hand instead of a sword. So they could be something like that. My guess is that they use the aetherquartz tokens we have seen to provide buffs for their group. So, kind of a mix between KO limited resources and Ossiarch RDP. But if they would behave even more like mini-heroes that could be also very interesting. (As long as we get a few more normal heroes too. I want to see more models of this range, lol.)
  13. Great to see that you came to like them. The pollaxe like hammers are awesome. I'm sure they'll get at least a generic leader along the lines of an Akhelian King/Liege-Kavalos. Just two mages (if Cathaller is one) would be also not much for such a mage heavy faction. And we know they'll have artifacts as we have already seen at least one in the card stack that comes with the starter box.
  14. For those of you who are not checking the Age of Sigmar FB page. The Lumineth were not mentioned at "This week in Warhammer", but @Thiagoma (and one other person) was so nice and asked them about this. They kind of confirmed that the Lumineth are part of the next preview again.
  15. You and michu are both correct. In the Lowdowns they have mentioned so far that Seb Perbet is in charge of the whole miniature range for the Lumineth. He made the early mock-ups (that's why the wind blows in the same direction) for the whole range. But he was also specifically the designer of the Eltharion miniature, while the Danwrider miniatures were done by Neil Langdown.
  16. Rules aside, I’d love it if the Lumineth war machine would be such a mage unit. Would be 100% my cup of tea. Could also look great. Not likely, but I’d like it 👍
  17. They could even include a part of the Indoneth into the Lumineth via the “River” elemental faction. As rivers are the only “oceans” Hysh has, you could have one tribe of the Idoneth staying/going back to Hysh. Unsurprisingly they also share some visual elements (symbols, tassels, shield and armour forms etc.) which wouldn’t make the Idoneth stick out too much (I don’t think they’ll do that though). I hope there will be some focus on the relationship between the Lumineth and the Idoneth in the Battletome. My guess is that they’ll do something on lines of having some parts of the Idoneth having a good relationship with the Lumineth, while others do not, so that there are as many possible options for your own stories as possible.
  18. The Phoenix Temple would fit thematically very well with the Lumineth, being a warrior-monk sect dedicated to a mystical beast. And GW has provided some information that there is a link between them. The symbol of the Ur-Phoenix and the symbol of the Hyshian Sun Spirit are identical (the former symbol of Asuryan). The Ur-Phoenix remains are located within a crystallized valley in Hysh (The Pyre of the Phoenix). Annointed travel to Hysh to meditate there for years before formally ascending to that rank. The Temple could easily be made into being the connection of the Lumineth to the other realms, if they want to do something like that.
  19. No, we haven’t. There is only one unit which they have shown to us, but we don’t really know what she is - Scinari Cathaller - the veiled lady with the aetherquartz brazier. A generic hero on a mount is what many people assume the Lumineth will get, but we haven’t seen even a hint of of such a unit yet.
  20. So just some additional speculation. They have shown us now three art pieces of spearmen, which maybe don’t correspond so much to the elements as many of us thought at first, but More likely to the 4 nations. We had the blue/gold spearman with the mountain rune on his chest plate. This seems to be the art piece showing the generic colour scheme which is also shown on the models. This represents the nation of Ymetrica. Because in the first preview Phil Kelly mentioned that Avalenor the Stoneheart King is from that nation. Then we had the red/golden colour scheme (the “Zenith” warden), which I think represents Zaitrek as their spells seem to have something to do with fire. And the spearmen (if that’s what she is) they depicted in the Hysh preview is likely from Iliatha, the matriarchal nation. Now, Ymetrica’s seems to be very much connected to the mountain spirit. The other nations don’t seem to have that close of a connection to one of the elements.
  21. I'm really interested in what they've come up with for the Stonemage. The whole "controls gravity" could lend it self to super interesting stuff. In the end it could just turn out to be bombarding opponents with rocks (which is also fun to be fair), but it also could be stuff like movement control of opponents (lifting them up in the air and slamming them down), or controlling flying units and a lot of other possibilities.
  22. I also thought it’s a High Warden from Iliatha, the matriarchal nation they mention above the picture. The High Warden model has the shield strapped to the back and a lantern in her hand. We also have seen one option with a lantern and wand. Maybe there is sword/shield option too.
  23. We have pictures of Lumineth fighting against Chaos and Orruks, the Cypher Lords are from Hysh, in one of the lowdowns they mentioned the nations of the Lumineth are a total shitshow, with magical hazard no go zones, and their bases consist of ruins. I’m sure there will be enough conflict. And that is before Slaanesh is even freed. Also, they’ll stay vague enough so that no one really knows how large these islands are, in order to leave enough room for speculation and personal stories. As people mentioned in the rumour threat, the Lumineth are likely only nominally in charge of all that territory, not really controlling everything. But hey, we have seen some awesome stuff in the last few days, I’m really excited at the moment. Looks like we have some thrilling weeks ahead.
  24. Yay, we are back! Here is a edited map of Hysh with an explanation of the Runes. So we have all of the 4 elements there either mentioned (or as a picture). Credit for the rune explanations go to PrussianWarfare and FrekyDoogal of the Age fo Soulbound Discord. I just copied it from there. The article kind of made me think we won't see Tyrion in the end with this release. But hopefully at least another element. Anyway, exciting stuff.
  25. The thing in the back next to the mountain (above Celennar‘s wing) could be an endless spell or terrain.
