  1. Great. I really like the idea of water being the main currency.
  2. The starter box would likely haven been released around this time. We can only speculate why they don’t put out any news. As the UK doesn’t even have a plan yet when the restrictions are lessened, it’s difficult. I think they should put out some news at least (another rule, or warscroll, or something like the difference between the two hammer models we know, or if they go with lore, one of the Teclian nations for example). But we don’t know if they can’t do anything, don’t think it’s a priority right now, or just need a bit of time to re-plan things before they start putting out information again.
  3. Not up to competition, huh? Also, the TopHatAndHorns Co.'s bull-horned-hat patent doesn't include horns on pointy hats, no one (really absolutely no one) thought that was a good idea. (I do hope we see Chaos Dwarfs updated in the future. They fit really well with AoS, and have really strong fans, fingers crossed).
  4. Hey, thousands of years in Slaanesh's belly, what'd you think happen?
  5. Official statement from TECLIS LONGHORNS INC. "We'd welcome a new entree into the market for bull imagery. So far the competition has been severely lacking (sorry Beastmen). Serious competition can only raise the whole market. We can assure our valued customers that our dedicated team of aetherquartz-powered tech-mages are already working right now on the next generation of super-horny imagery to stay ahead of the curve!"
  6. Well, they are going to release new, proper elves - and gave them magic steroids and magic coffee - so it’s likely that some earth realm shattering ****** is going to happen. Just give the Lumineth a bit of time to warm up.
  7. Oh it didn't look to me like that, but that would be even better! Or maybe it's Avalenor? Would also make sense. It's funny what you can see in those blobs, like looking at clouds in a way.
  8. As there are no news, lets speculate a bit more about what might be still coming (also a good opportunity to look at that awesome picture again 😄). In the photo shot with the alternative hammer models, there are two very blurry things in the background, which could be endless spells or terrain pieces. One is located right above the left wing of Celennar. I've not seen anything like that as just normal background terrain in any of the other photos they have shown us so far. Of course it's really blurry and they haven't shown us many photos at all, but it seem to be quite distinctive. The other one is even more vague, but it looks like there is something at the base of the mountain. Might be nothing, but then the whole mountain could be a terrain piece or endless spell. The mountain token we have seen has a similar shape, we just saw the Hammerhal joke about the "non-moving" mountains, and HE had a spell way back in the day where they could move a hill. Of course the joke could very much just refer to the mountain spirits.
  9. Lumineth River sub-faction! 🤪 Sorry, still caught in lack-of-new-information hallucinations. Yeah, Idoneth would make sense. If that’s true this really become the year of the Aelves in AoS (and Giants : ) ).
  10. I’d lend you some of my aetherquartz, but I’ve run out of my approved monthly portion a week ago. Damn Reinvention.
  11. They mentioned in the preview, that the Stoneguard needs to be in the mountain stance to be a proper anvil. This could mean something resource based (like they have to use one of the aetherquartz tokens we saw), or maybe condition-based (not have moved the previous round etc.) . GW also mentioned that there are synergies between all the Alarith units to get out the most of the Stoneguard. So I think there'll be babysitting involved.
  12. Could be of course. As the stopped providing anything new in terms of units since the first big preview, they either don't have anything anymore of just don't want to show it before they have a concrete release schedule. A lot of people have been asking on all kind of platforms without getting anywhere, so we have to wait and see.
  13. Yeah I hoped they'd release the BT in digital form too. I love the whole range of units, and also the lore behind them. Can't wait to get them all. But it's good that people who don't like parts of them, can find other ways to enjoy the figures they like.
  14. Now, now, now, the last post in the CoS section was last Saturday, whereas I wouldn't call our forum anaemic. Granted, it's mostly infighting and people like me sulking in a corner, but there is still a lot going on here! Even without any real news since the last article about Hysh. I think in the end a lot of people will like the Lumineth for what they are. And after the release it looks like the faction forums mostly talk about list-building, so a lot will depend on how many interesting options there are. I totally agree with your CoS army idea though. For people who really don't like Teclis and the mountain sub-faction, it's a good alternative to play with the models they like while building their own story around that. Because even if there are a few more models for the LRL, I doubt you will be able to play the Lumineth in a meaningful way excluding all the Alarith models (at least for the first year or more). That's one of the great things about the AoS setting, it's so vast and still a bit mysterious that you can do pretty much whatever you want and still at least partly base it on the official fluff.
  15. @woolfFor sure it’d make total sense, if you jump back 20 or 30 pages you’ll see that some of us who are now in the skeptical corner about a second elemental faction with this release (or much else coming at all) were advocating exactly this enthusiastically. Also thing like the quotation analysis Falkman did on the last page. We did that sometime in February/March already. And because nothing much besides constant teasing and going back and forth happened in the end, became a bit jaded. That’s where some of the divide right now among people is originating. It would make sense if they’d release a second elemental faction, including or excluding Tyrion, or only add a few more kits. Let’s see. I’d be happy if you are right and she is part of an elemental faction : )
  16. I think it’s unlikely that Scinari is connected to an elemental sub-culture (wind or water). The Alarith heroes/behemoth prominently show the affiliated mountain rune on their models, while the Scinari Cathaller just has the symbol of doom (Elthrai) on the model. Also the description of her function is something that cuts across all of the Lumineth, has nothing to do with an element, while also placing her a bit apart from the rest of society. There could be more Scinari units, but I think then Scinari would be more of a similar category to Vanari (for example Vanari having more of a Tyrionic influence, while Scinari being more Teclian). If at all, then maybe zenith would be the most fitting element.
  17. @Aelfric You could make the same argument about the Sons of Behemat. And yet, they've shown everything. Compare their sub-forum with ours here. What's the point of not providing us with the information? Theoretically we could discuss something else, but they haven't really given us much else either. You can see that the tenor is getting more and more negative here. One advantage about knowing if there are more models or not is that the people who don't like the current range can move on in case there is nothing. Or rekindle their original interest in the Lumineth in case there are units they like among the rest. Either way would be better than what we have now in my view.
  18. It doesn't look like we get a lowdown today. Not impossible, but so far they have always mentioned it in the weekly forecasts. It really seems like there isn't much more coming for this release. There might be Endless Spells and maybe a few more options for the existing kits (like we know for the Stoneguard), but that's very likely it. Although I hope there is a bit more. If that's it, giving out all the info about 4 elemental factions etc. might have been the wrong move. Sure, it kept people engaged, but it's not good if people are disappointed in the end, because we just get a small fraction of what they were talking about. I totally agree with GW better coming forth and letting people know about the scope of units they are going to release. If there is nothing more, people who don't like the current units won't be much happier about them a few weeks down the road anyway. There is a lot of things GW can do to keep people who like the current models engaged besides hiding the information about the range. And if there is more, it's much more fun to speculate what's still out there, than worrying about if there is anything else at all.
  19. Looks like there is a slight misunderstanding. People aren't complaining about the release schedule being uncertain. Everyone understands that Covid 19 has made a prediction about that impossible at the moment. At least in terms of Lumineth, the complaint is that people just want to know what's in the release when they are eventually able to do it (meaning the units connected to this BT, not something further down the line). It's easy to say you should step back, but for a lot of us who are being kept at home, the are also not under the best of conditions to just take it easy. They wouldn't even have to show all the models, but just let people know if there is still anything else or not. There are a lot of other things they can do to keep Lumineth fans engaged after that, and for the people who do not like most of the models they have shown so far, it would be helpful too. GW basically just did that for the Sons of Behemat. It's not like people lose all interest in a faction just because they know what models are coming.
  20. @Chikout That is what I have thought the whole time until yesterday, but I lost hope. At this point wouldn’t it be also strange that we haven’t seen even a hint of the Tyrionic side, or own of the other elements, if there are still to come? Are they just going to dump 30% of the army at some point next month before they release the starter box? Has something like that ever happened? I honestly think at this point the drip-feeding is doing them a disservice. It’s pretty stressful for people who have been invested in the Lumineth since January. And there is a lot of negative feedback on yesterday’s reveal and the uncertainty. They don’t have to show everything yet, but just come clear what we can expect. GW went from “this is just the tip of the iceberg” in the first preview to something like “we have seen the models, just get them out” without having shown us one additional model in between. I understand the difficult situation they are in, but I don’t think they are helping their case anymore with what they are doing right now.
  21. I guess because they guy who had it before doesn’t need it anymore. Currently being a bloody metal speck on the ground somewhere.
  22. Yup, for me that was included in "we have seen everything that has been hinted at so far" (the picture is somewhat cut off, so it's possible there are still a few things left though, like endless spells or something. That's something they could have done even with the time restraints). It would have made total sense if all those three previews were meant to be together at Adpeticon, that at that time - they showed us the rest of the range, including the Mountain Spirit as the big surprise, and then promote the starter box which they'd have released soon thereafter. But it's still speculation, because it hasn't been confirmed by them yet. Right now I personally think we have seen everything for this release (besides maybe endless spells), but it's still only speculation on both sides. I hope there is more though, lol.
  23. As someone who said it sounded like this is it. It’s just speculation based on several things: Mainly the preview yesterday. At one point they said “we have seen the models”, “just want the Lumineth to come out now”, to a very specific question about if there is more. They haven’t shown or hinted at anything else that we haven’t seen yet. Before we always had a glimpse of something else. That hasn’t happened since around a month now or so , when we first saw Scinari Cathaller All the rumour engines clearly connected to the Lumineth have been revealed now I personally hope though there is more. As mentioned by people above, the kit would be small, and not only that, it would miss out quite a lot of options (war machine, flying monsters, flying skirmish units, generic hero on a mount). Besides that, you can argue that there are still one or two rumour engines out which could be linked to the Lumineth, and in the background of one of the photos we might have seen an endless spell. Above all, GW hasn’t confirmed or denied that this is the full range, and some people interpreted the conversation yesterday exactly opposite to how I understood it (as more of a proof that there is more to come). So there is no real evidence either way. The lowdown tomorrow (if there is one) could already make all this obsolete.
  24. If they not specifically confirm there is more, we have to assume that’s it. Also the last sentence on the Community article reads: “... Let us know what you think of this, and the rest of the forthcoming Lumineth, on the Warhammer Age of Sigmar Facebook page.” If that’s it, I’m really surprised about the marketing. That’s really anti-climatic. Nothing, not even a vid or anything. Just attached to a new Warcry warband. One relatively normal model. Although I think it’s beautiful, that’ll be disappointing for many people.
  25. It looks like this is the entire Lumineth range.
