  1. Time to buckle down and finish everything! No more work for me!
  2. For those gaps use some greenstuff, it’s pretty easy to use.
  3. I’ve been enjoying them. They definitely don’t smash hard like orks. You gotta setup the kill with your olyander spirit host bomb. The control over the field is amazing though, the underworlds and the dread blade harrow general makes you be able to rapidly redeploy out of losing fights or on to objectives.
  4. Yes very much inspired lol. Here’s the knight
  5. I like the thought of the 12 spirit hosts, but it would be hard to get all of them engaged or within buff range of the ST. The knight of shrouds wholly within 18 could be possible.
  6. Ok, I’ve been using the hosts from the underworlds to screen out middle objectives, and setup olynder buried behind one of the squads. The chainrasps have been getting picked up as you said lol, but I don’t have more than 20. The reapers I’ve been using to fight whatever with the teleport to my general ca , and the black coach has been supporting the spirit hosts and generally being a nuisance. My areas meta has a good mix, gloomspite, KO, Khorne, nurgle, fec, cos, skaven,(I’m forgetting some),with most people having more than one list build so it’s hard to predict what I’ll face. A fun thing I’ve been enjoying is olynder just melting face at short range against more elite enemies. I could proxy the knight of shrouds as a dread blade harrow, his teleport movement seems really good.
  7. Enix would you think dropping the rasps and cogs and exchanging them with another squad of 6 spirit hosts would be better? I have 18 in total lol.
  8. Is this a good list? I’m also running cogs and palisades
  9. Trying to decide on lists for a tourney tomorrow, between my ironsuns or a big waaagh supported by 2 20 blocks of savages and a wurgog. The ironsuns is a 4 drop, the big waaagh is a lot of drops lol. I won last time with the ironsuns list, so big waaagh is the more likely choice. Kicker is do I take the wurgog or an ironfist battalion, both seem like good choices but the wurgog has been pulling weight for me dealing with hordes and unbinds. His spell is usually the fight last one, is the brutal beast spirits worth it to buff up the shootas/ stabbas even more?
  10. Thanks! This is my first airbrush work so I’m still figuring it out. How would one apply a gloss coating and or glaze? Airbrush that on as well?
  11. Getting there, getting some more guys this week!
  12. Wurgog with the laser mask, this guy is the best!
  13. Got some savages and a airbrush, having fun getting in some practice with it. I would love to buy a whole assembled army lol it’s hard building so many guys.
  14. If I wanted to buy this army all at once what boxes and how many of each would be needed? I’m looking for a mix of everything. I already have a wurgog prophet but that’s it. I really like the boar models as well, what’s the better unit choice for them? I like the maniacs on paper better but the difference seems minimal. Thanks!
  15. I just won my lgs tourney with my ironjawz! I went 8 8 8 as well, using an ironsuns list. I am pretty helpless with technology so idk how to link my list lol. I ran with a megaboss on mawcrusha, warchanter, wierdnob, 2 10 man ardboys, 10 brutes , 5 brutes and 6 gore gruntas with a ironfist battalion and the etherquartz brooch. Game 1 was against slaanesh, smashing and bashing did work here, made the krusha kill shelaxi ( he was down to 2 wounds though lol) and the pigs just mulch through stuff with the warchanter buff. Game 2 was against skaven, I went first and charged the krusha and the pigs into a clan rat screen, killed them all with the krusha activation and then piled into a 40 man plague monk squad with the pigs and killed all of them lol. Game 3 was against khorne, specifically the big FW dragon lol. Was pretty intimidating, but he went first and withdrew away, forgot his prayers for the plus one save, and then in my turn I moved up with pigs to charge his reavers and held the mawcrusha back. Got the double turn and teleport the warchanter within range to buff up the megaboss, popped the waaagh and his command ability on himself, charged the dragon and did 28 damage! Then he died, but made the cleanup a breeze. Overall the minus one to hit from ironsuns and the ability to charge in the enemy charge phase makes it a no brainer. Add in the extra cp and the reduce rend artifact for the krusha and mean in mount trait. I got lucky with my hand of gork all day, got it off every time for once lol. All in all I love the new book, smashing and bashing is ridiculous, super good counter play to slaanesh locus. Mad as hell is good as well, I shot my pigs with green puke against Khorne and gained 5 inches of extra movement on top of a mighty destroyers move . I also used it to get into cover in the skaven matchup with other my ardboys to make the charge harder for him and for the plus one save. It has many kunning uses lol. Happy waaaghing boys!
