Well we knew about the Warband for March was likely Vamps. Whether or not that also translates to a proper AoS army is what all the speculation is about.

This would be amazing and would lead to some really cool kit bashed models. Zombie Handgunners, Zombie Demigryph Knights, etc.

Well they posted an article on the warhammer community about the FAQ's that have already been posted today, so my guess is that is all they are doing (at least today).

I was thinking the same exact thing, but as a LoB player and someone that has kit bashed a Soulblight Khorne army I figured it was wishful thinking for it to be a hint at anything.

The last two years didn't GW at least make a mention of the winter FAQ? AFAIK I haven't heard anything about a winter FAQ this year.

I have no idea what this is, looks like the bottom of the image might be a bag or satchel of some sort but other than that I have no idea.

If they come out with a Deadwalkers faction or just an update for Deadwalkers and nothing for Vampires I am going to be so incredibly disappointed.

I may be a bit biased since my favorite lore is Vampire/Soulblight but the Vampire Lord on Zombie Dragon is one of my favorite Dragon sculpts from GW. Sure it isn't traditional fantasy dragon, being that it is dead and all but I love the idea of bringing a Dragon back from the dead to use as a mount / warrior beast.

Agreed. That Shadow Leap is really strong. For 100 points it's a steal IMO.

Thanks, I've always considered my skills average or slightly above average on a good day but this particular model I really enjoyed the conversion process and painting it up. Like you I would strongly prefer noble counts with a blood theme but since GW seems to be all about protecting their IP it would make sense to me that they go in a unique direction for Vampires. That is my fear as well. Unless they are just doing a warband until AoS 3.0 comes out and then a new Vamp/Soulblight battletome follows. I don't know that I would want a new BT right before 3.0 is released. That is assuming that 3.0 is around the corner.

haha, I know. But every advent calendar I've ever seen has had the number is order, be it ascending or descending. Maybe it's the Matrix advent calendar.

So the numbers are not in order (ascending or descending), and I cannot imagine a reason to have a random number board. I wonder if there is some sort of code here. Either: 2, 7 16, 21, 20, 1, 6, 10, 9, 8, 3, 22, 17, 14, 15, 4, 13, 18, 12, 23, 5, 11, 24, 19 (read horizontally) OR 2, 20, 9, 17, 13, 5, 7, 1, 8, 14, 18, 11, 16, 6, 3, 15, 12, 24, 21, 10, 22, 4, 23, 19 (read vertically). Maybe the pictures in a row with each other all go to the same model or army? OR maybe GW is just ****** with my OCD 🤷‍♂️

Yes I agree. While that means a little bit longer wait, I would prefer a 3.0 Battle Tome as well.

I kind of figured the next BR announcement would be early January anyways.
