They look like giant sideburns to me.
yea that's my issue with the helmet, even though I do enjoy the rest of the aesthetic--even the horns. which we now know are some kinda mountain spirit slash buffalo buddy.

everyone loves describing elves as inhuman, otherworldly, ethereal etc... well, these faces are the proper representation of that. i don't think it helps that the rest of Teclis' head is covered up, framing his face strangely.
Also this Lumineth chalice reminds me of the pointy goblet/chalice/thing rumor a few pages back. The movement of whatever is in them looks similar 🤔

@CommissarRotke yep seems it linkes from the link in the beginning that says sneak peeks at some you haven’t! maybe that is the bottom of that sculpt, ie the mage guy is meditating on top of that pointy rock (seems it also has the mountain rune on it)
I completely missed that link lmao I was so sure they had changed it and the poor warcom poster had given us a leak

That cape goes down below the base of that... stone he sits on. There's something down there...
That was a good tease. Too little answers, but maybe we'll get something tonight.
I also don't think tyrion is mountain dude, he's more affiliated with fire which would be zenith i guess? Also goes well as the counter to moon/ Teclis.
It seems that the hyperlink is "fixed" now but I could SWEAR this hyperlink phrase "rune of the mountain" led to the rumor mill with the elfy rune post... it now goes to the Lumineth lore part 1

So
moon, magic/contemplation: Teclis
sun martial/action: Tyrionhorns, crescents, 'calm' = Teclis
model design incorporating wind = wind(s) as faction mechanic??
This pic reminds me of the other rumor mill that looks like a Dark Elven goblet, so my guess is that rumor confirms new DOK and/or Malerion elves?
The woman next to it seems to have missed her aetherquartz before battle too hmm...

I literally went to check on low-priority tickets to stave off the wait, only to come back and see there's still no article yet

While I'd love to see what another chamber would bring (or even getting mixed units for older kits), there's too many other armies that need model/sculpt updates, and better rules for our older models would be miles* better than Sigmar Opens Another Chamber
*what equivalent phrase do you metric folks use?

argh! I wish they would lead with that - I didn't know the US was their main audience?
yea the Association itself is based in the US https://www.gama.org/

I'm loving the new Seraphon battletome so far, but like every new battletome it reminds me of the sad state of the outdated Stormcast book
It gives me an itch to go back to my Lizardmen, but I think I really just want a Bastilodon... The more important sculpts (skinks, saurus) are the same as when I got into WFB back in high school, and about half their heroes are unfortunately ugly. Always enjoyed the lore though.
edit: forgot that the cav, flyers, and some monsters are now plastic. hunting packs when 😢

Razordon with 1 wound seems...very strange? Even gryph hounds have 3 apiece

Dropped a word there. I meant the official Warhammer Age of Sigmar Facebook page.
I thought the facebook pages had the same news as WC... time to begrudgingly bookmark that one too
edit: it's even got the newest Roll Models that the official comic page doesn't 🤔
-
CMW: Seraphon didn't get new models so Lumineth would sell well on release 🤣
all of these new rules and their new SC look mighty good for Order fans, I'm hoping this upcoming Monday gives LRL something just as juicy.

Imo on par with Nagash would make more sense, yet Nagash should be empowered atm (Necroquake) which should make him better than any other caster?
I thought that only empowered him in Shyish, no?

The official Age of Sigmar page
where is this page? I didn't see anything on the Warhammer Community feed
Also wishing I had uhh kept more of my Lizardmen maybe I didn't like the metal cav and monsters I had from WFB, but urgh the Saurus...

in all seriousness this makes me want to add a Stegadon or Bastiladon into my SCE army as allies

Hey guys, quick question!
Larissa Shadowstalker. Is she worth getting? Is she even legal? She's not on any GHB list or in the Warscroll Builder... So, can you use her special rules in Matched Play? What is her point cost, if so?
I can take a picture of the warscroll that came in the box later today. She's not terrible but only casual matched worthy. Knight Questors are all 100pts.

Angelic have nothing to do with Wings folks...
beat me to it lol, angelic doesn't implicitly mean wings just that they're ethereally beautiful, stoic, perfected, etc

@Sleepa the only issue would obv be shooting, but that'd only hurt against KO. If you don't have 10x hunters then I'd say try this list out first to see in your league. Castellant makes both those units beefy and Arcanum gives the dispel

the Soul Wars give way to the next big story, Slaanesh's escape being the obvious big hook if they haven't already broken free before that
I got legitimately terrified that there were multiple gods trapped, before remembering Slaanesh is indeed a They. Let's hope nothing else has coalesced inside there to escape when the time comes...

Hmm.I think its the gryph chargers that pack the punch but agreed, underrated
The javelins are nice ranged poke but yeah the gryphs do the most work
1 hour ago, Sance said:Can i make a competitive army with only Sacrosanct models ? (Evocator, Liberator, Castigator etc)
Castigators are not competitive at all, Liberators aren't Sacrosanct but the Sequitors are pretty competitive yes, Evocators are top tier glass cannons for us

DoK or a first teaser for Malerion. Most likely DOK for Beastgrave though.
It feels too static of an item to be for an Underworlds warband though; we know the DOK leader has a spear, there's twin witch aelves with twin daggers, and 1 melusai

I know for things like cavalry this ends up being a must for rider vs mount, and even just looking at the Stegadon kit you can tell the howdah is painted separately. Biggest problem I run into is knowing how to do this with infantry it seems.. not least because they are the hardest to stop building before you finish it. This was bad with Soul Wars since everyone is in like 3 or 4 pieces too.
I left shields off sequitors and greatbows off a couple castigators, didn't glue most into bases because they have pegs, etc so hopefully that experimenting pays off. Ironically the ETB sequitor my local shop gave me to try painting feels harder to do than the starter kit sequitors!! The mounted lord and hero are pretty 'open' models so with any luck my painting confidence will be high enough after infantry to try a mounted character 😅

In that line: If the moon spirits are sphinx, and the mountain banner is showing a horned animal... then that would be an AUROCHS if they want to be properly fantasy and not just buffalo or bull.
this even fits in with modern reimaginings of the aurochs' horns
edit: calling it now, Sun theme will be dragons or phoenix
what do y'all think water could be??
