  1. But no wizard at all is a bad idea in my opinion, no dispel, no control on endless spells and no Moon clan spells from the cauldron ! Especially HoG, imagine using it on the Troggboss and then using Gorrdrakk command ability, add the Cogs and you can charge from 9" with 3D6 + 2 !!
  2. I do ! 5 chances to one shot a "small" hero or finish a big target !
  3. More than that with the Troggboss ! Wild Fury + Gorrdrakk ! 1 or 2 + 2 ! With the Ghyrstrike and command ability, you have 8 attacks +2 reroll 1 +3 D6 ! It's insane ! After all I think the Chronomantic Cogs might be better than the Mork's Mighty Mushroom, +2 to move and charge increase the poor Trogg's movement !

  5. This discussion is really interesting, the match up against FEC is important in the actual meta, this army is top tier (maybe god tier before FAQ). So learning to play against them is important to consider (like the new skaven). I never played against them yet, but it will come and i'm a bit afraid, MW output, mobility, summons... My actual list is squig oriented Skargrott as general Loonboss on Mangler Squigs Loonboss on Giant Squig Fungoid Cave Shaman 12 Squig Herd 12 Squig Herd 20 stabbas 10 Boingrot Bounderz 10 Boingrot Bounderz 10 Boingrot Bounderz Squig Rider Stampede Mork's Mighty Mushroom Scarpskuttle's Arachnacauldron 2000/2000 The most important thing in my mind is how to prevent Terrorgeist and / or Flayers to charge your Bounderz first and snipe the Archregent and / or others characters who can summon
  6. Seeing this monster charging into the ennemies boosted with a Voice of Gork is too enjoyable ! Yeah ! Squigs or Troggoths, both are scary when you Hand of Gork them under a Voice of Gork ! Only one misstake from your opponent and you will snipe some key targets ! But most of the time you wil not be able to re-roll charge them, cause of you will be farther than 12" your general or 6" from a hero most of the time, anyway a charge with 3D6 at 9" will work most of the time !

  8. "A Wizard cannot attempt to cast more than one endless spell in the same turn (even if they are different endless spells)." In the Malign Sorcery book, this is what I mean, not having two at the same time but summon two in the same turn with the same wizard
  9. That was my idea too at the begining and I forgot about Malign Sorcery's artefacts ! It's crazy how just 10 pts can change that much ! Are you sure we can summon 2 endless spells in one turn ? Anyway, even if you can't it's still a very good idea in my opinion ! I want the Loonboss on giant cave squig too but I couldnt find a spot for him, we are very short in points sadly... Most of the time it's between him and a wizard + 1 endless spell. Exact, the shaman will be the general and I think it's between big and brutish and bellowing tyrant, it's a bit tricky to be within 6" of the shaman, especially late in the game, but it can add a bit more viability on the charge and/or run !
  10. In my opinion, swap the Loonboss + Mangler Squigs to 15 Boingrot Bounderz + Cogs or Cauldron. Cauldron allow you to Hand of gork your stabbas with fanatics in it. Loonboss is not worth it in this list with only 40 stabbas.

The main idea about having a Gloomspite wizard w/ the cauldron is to try to hand of gork the troggoths (you can charge from 9" with 3 dices) or Squig Lure D3 Squigs (2D6 rerollable + 1D6 run + 3D6 charge + fly). Maybe 2 endless spells is a bit too much, but even just to try to dispel and/or unbind is important in my opinion. I totaly agree with that, it remind me the Braggoth battalion from BCR and even Idoneth trait.

I really want to add a Loonboss on Mangler Squigs but the regualr one with Voice of Gork seems strong !
  14. I'm joining the discussion because I love the idea ! My guess is to make this combo the most powerful we need to use the Voice of Gork on as many units as we can and 2x10 Bounderz is not enough to me. Atleast 3x10/15 Bounderz and if possible a regular Manglers is the way to go. I like the idea and want to try to make it kind of competitive if possible :)
