White lions 120points 20 attacks 3-3 1 rend, save4 and reroll saves 1 in shooting Swordmasters 140 points 20 attacks 3-3 1 rend save 4 rerroling all in shooting Grimhast reapers 140 points 20 attacks 4-3 1 rend invulnerable save of 4 Namarti tralls 140 points 20 attacks 3-3 1 rend (50-100% more damage vs 1 or 5 wounds) same save of 5 And the best example of one unit 100% better than vulkites: the phoenyx guard,140 points for 10 wound with save 4 and 4++ 20 attacks 3-3 0 rend.so same attacks,1 better save,4++ that is the same than double wound and cost 20 less also have 25 base and 2" rangue Oh also maybe the worst army of aos2, the dispossesed have for 160 points 20 warriors that are 20 wounds with save of 5(rerrolling all at melle that is the same that a save of4 at melle of vulkites) also have 20 attacks 4-3 1 rend that is the same that vulkites with shield. So same points for same stats,vulkites have the attack even if dead and warriors the reroll wounds in oponent turn. I prefer vulkites but is a example of how bad are vulkites when they have almost 100% the same stats that a unit of one of the worst armys of this edition I know that i was very salty at first and now after thinking more Many things in the new tome have been buffed and are great,but vulkites have been nerfed and havent any use now. After some thinking maybe they are usefull vs flesh eaters,so they can figth back when the dragon allways attack first and attack twice kill them
  2. Vulkites are really bad now, only 20 attacks at 3-3 with 0 rend for 160 points is a joke when every similar unit cost 120-140 and have the same 20 attack with 3-3 but 1 rend. Also the save of 5 is very poor. In general vulkites have been nerfed without reason,with a cost of 120 they would have any use but 160 is too much and hearthguard zerkers are better in all,for 40 less points have the same tankiness(double wound is the same than 4++),and for damage also the hearthguard have more danage for less points. So nobody gonna bring vulkites when for 40 less points the hearthguard are better in every aspect
  3. Endless prayers are useless for us,i think i read in the vid of the battletome that only you can choose betwen prayers and endless prayers if you have the fyreslayer alegiance. So as ally you cant use endless prayers (

  5. I have my two kings on 32 because the oathstone is ugly on 25 But my two runelord are on 25, i would have put them in 32 but i didnt have any

Squig knigth do 20 attacks,4 hit,3 to wound,-1 rend 1 damage=6'6damage also do mortal wound by each model with a 4+ so a unit of 5 do 2'5 mortal wounds So 100 points for 6'6damage with 1 rend and 2'5 mortals wound Now hearthguards, have two options Option1 the poleaxes are 10 attacks 3 hit 3 wound -1 rend 2 damage=8'8 damage and havent mortal wounds Option2 the censer are 10 attacks 3 hit 3 wound 0 rend 1 damage=4'4 damage with no rend and do mortal wounds with the 6 to hit that are 2 extra mortal wounds that 10 attacks= 3'3 mortal wounds So: Squigs: 6'6 damage with 1 rend and 2'5 mortal wounds for 100 points Hearthguard: Option1 poleaxes: 8'8 damage with 1 rend and 0 mortals,so same rend1 damage but 2'5 less mortals wound for 120 points Option2 censer: 4'4 damage with 0 rend and 3'3 mortal wounds for 120 points that it is 2'5 less damage than squigs and with 0 ap and do 0'8 mortal wound more thsn squig for 20 more points. I think that squigs do more damage than both versions of hearthguard if i havent done any math bad. Also yes we have many buffs for them but squigs also have maybe more buffs for them than us as the moon,the colosal squig or many spells. Also squig cost 20% less and have 16% worse save(save of 4 vs save of 5\4++ is a 16% worse save) so per points hearthguard are less tank Dont get me wrong,hearthguard are very good but i think the game have some units so good or better than they as the squig knigth that havent been nerfed yet,so it isnt problable they are nerfed soon Edit:i did some math wrong so i had to redo
  7. I agree that hearthguards berzerers are very nice. But a nerf in points isnt probable because we have in aos2 many units that are so good or better and havent nerfed. Per example the new goblin knigths in squigs have been around months and are very very similar to hearthguard. Have the same wounds(10) better regular save (4) but havent the 4++. Have as double move than us(2d6 are a median of 7 move) Have the same atacks(20 attacks of 3hit 3 wound -1 1 damage is the same than us,a total of 20 damage) But they do 2'5 mortal wounds per round that we dont And the cost 100 so 20 less. So they have a little worse save if we have the 4++,have better damage output with the same regular damage but mortal wounds,double move than us and cost 20 points less. So my point is: hearthguard are veeeeery good,but aos2 tomes have units so good or better and havent been nerfed yet so it is soon to call overpower to hearthguards. I have been pretty negative with the changues and i gonna try test them before more negative feedback. I know that in offitial tournament they wont let you,but in my local tournaments i gonna use my vulkites as proxys of hearthguard with no problem
  8. Vulkites 160 points makes them ome of the worst units in the game. Hardboys are same stats or better and are non competitive army. Vs wytches,reapers,trhalls,every aos2 battletome unit they are useless. Also magmadroth dont getting 5++ as verminlords got makes them so bad as before. Battlesmith have been nerfed into the ground Hearthguard berzerkers are very good now and the way to play competitive is our unique build now. All out of them is at aos1 levels
  9. Sure you could lose 4 berzerkers or you also could loose 0 who cares?math says the median is 50%, nobody compare stats saying that allways faill or allways have sucess,only matter the median
  10. It is fully gone,was replaced with the old slayer skill of attack even if killed(but only one time per game) And they have said that our alegiance is 100% the same only have changed the minor buff to tye axe rune

Maths sir disagree with you. 50% save after save is 100% the same than 100% more wounds. 10 mortal wound done after save: With the special save we only get 5 wounds so 5 models lost With the 100% more wounds but lost the save after save we eat those 10 wound and loose 5 models So it is 100% the same as maths tell us.sure we could faill every save after save but also we could save 100% of those saves,nobody who kmow stats would say that. It is a 50% chance The truth is fyreslayers are getting a joke battletome that wont get them from mid\lower tier to god tier(or aos2 battletome tier) That we know: All the army have traded the 50% after save for 100% more wounds that is 100% the same We are getting a +1 to hit one time per game in our axes but we have been nerfed from 4 hit and 4 wound to 5 hit and 5 wound. So we are getting a 15% nerf to our hit and wound in axes that is HUGE Hearthguard getting double attacks is great sure,but they arent telling us how we have lost the attack twice of the battallion.so for people using the battallions we arent getting any buff. Sure now we dont need run the battallion,also now we can field vulkites as 10 and not 30 but those are MINOR bufs that wont get us out of mid tier. I hope we see some huge bufs in the terrain or points as the preview of today have been only lies(tell how we are great tank now with the extra wound but domt say how we have loose the special save etc)
  12. I am alone seeing how we are getting some huge nerfs? They have told us how insane tanky we are now with one extra wound,also how great is the one per game rune of throwing with the +1 to hig and so. Also the extra attack with hearthguard But........as allways in those previews they are all lies. They didnt told us as we have lost the 50% save after save than cancel 100% the extra wound(make maths,50% after save is 100% the same than 100% more wounds) Also they didnt told us nothing about how all our shooting axes have been nerfed HARD and now it is 5 hit and 5 wound.so this huge buffs of the rune is useless and they have nerfed all our shooting. In general we are better now?i am not sure,we havent got buffs in our tankyness,neither our dps(pretty sure we have lost the battallion of atack twice of hearthguard cancelling this buff and doing it the same than before with the battallion) but we have got a HUGE nerf to our shooting axes. Sure now we can field vulkites as 10 because we dont get nothing of field 30 and now we dont need use battalion tomattack twice of hearthguard.those are buffs. But those are minor buffs that wont get us from middle\lower tier to the tier of aos2 battletomes. In general all that we know is very bad news and i hope we get some huge bufs in our way or we are ******
  13. As allways gw only give lies in those previews. Sure fyreslayers have got one extra wound but gw didnt told you that they have lost his 50% save after save. So maths show that the 50% extra save is 100% the same than one extra wound. So nop,fyreslayers havent got any buff in tankiness. Sure now they are easier to field because you dont need get them as unit of 30 and now can field them as 10 because they dont get nothing extra for numbers now.
  14. My army was 1200 points of dispossesed 160 ironweld and then 640 fyreslayers. I dont want build 90 vulkites because it is a pain to glue the thowing axes and keys( i builded 20 and was a pain) and i was waiting for a new release with as 2 new units or more. So i could build a full fyreslayer army. Now after see this joke i wont buy anithing of this release and gonna continue having fyreslayers as my ally and nothing more. I guess gw can release 12 new kits for 40k khaos,9999999 new kits for stormcast or more daemons(if we join every daemon faction daemons have the bigger number of units of aos)but release a new kit for a 3 years old army that have two!!! Boxes of units is too much. And btw skavens and fec were fantasy models that got a batletome for aos.so it is logical that they dont get new units(but even then they got a new hero) but fyreslayers are a 100% new aos army and it is a joke that they only have heroes boxes and two units
  15. Yes im with you. As you i started with dispossese in the last edition with the release of firestorm boxes. Then dispossesed was pretty playable,not top but could win any game if you played better than you oponent. But now in aos2 we are useless and umplayable with 0% chance of win vs any aos2 army
  16. Yes 100% this. Seems gw didnt put effort in fyreslsyers. Only the comon forge,copy\paste two random endless spells and all the real work have been the golem. I really cant believe how heck a army as fyreslsyer with 3 years only have two boxes of units but we are getting 999999999 new daemons units each year. I had as 700 points of fyreslayers that i played as allied of my dispossesed and i was thinking doing it a full army with the new units. I guess wont happen and as they are allys i cant use the battletome neither the forge so i wont buy nothing of this out of the golem.

  19. Gonna be new mini of ungrim as morathi with human version and avatar of fire mode. Also gonna bring a new wave of models consist in dissposesed(heavy armored) dwarfs but with slayers axes,beards and hairs. 100% for sure!

  21. In my region(spain) is gone the ligth elf,the dark elf and the fyreslayer hero from the warhammer quest. So i dont know what happens but if those 3 are gone meaning that isnt nothing as dark elfs incoming or so,it is something that they are doing with warhammer quest heroes in general
  22. Hnnn i am building the start collecting and omg guys fyreslayers are pretty hard to build. In details,the keys,urgold symbols and throwing axes are HARD to glue to the waist. Ohhh and the tail of the magmadroth was a hell,i have to finish to build it tomorrow(the head and the front legs) and i hope be easier than the tail

The trailer of stormvault was 100% stormcast as have proven be,but many people said that wasnt going to be stormcast lol So disappointed released,they said us the new arc after soul wars was going to be this stormvault and then we get a boring game with allready used minis? Where is the new arc,new minis and so?
  24. How? This spell have a median of 5 mortal wounds vs 1 wound model when the best damage ratio endless spell is the guillotine with a median of 3'5 mortal wounds. So yes, 5≥≥≥3'5 this is the BEST damage endless spell by a huge mile(as 70% better than the best untill now)

Gw: i dont know,as it is the best spell lets put it on a underpower army to try balance them Balance team: sure lets put it to nagash so lets try that lon have the same 70% win rate as dok! Gw:is it wise put the best spell to the best caster of the game who is dominating the meta? Balance team: who cares,we did a great job balancing this edition and in special dok and lon, we know gonna be rigth! It is hilarious
