  1. Didn't get the whole scroll, my browser's acting up.
  2. Excerpt from Ironclad rules. They can hold 20 models normally, or more if they're willing to suffer some penalties (to movement, I guess). Skyriggers as we knew do not count for this max, as they float behind tailgating the ship. Skyhooks (Skyriggers and some ships) can pull their units towards the target, Skyriggers up to 24" sounded like and ships D6". Endrinmasters can heal their ships, which also heal natively.
  3. They also showed the rules for some of the named holds (chapter tactics!) but I didn't sshot them. One of them gives each hero an unbind (or +1 unbind) with an extra one for each one turn/game. Sounded like the Skyvessel abilities counted as artifacts.
  4. The difference is you can bring Warp-Lightning Cannons with Unpredictable Destruction. It remains to be seen whether BoK have any reach. Without it I don't have high hopes.
  5. The Spelleater Curse is legit. Gonna be some sad-faced Treelords not getting their D6 wounds back due to that. The Bloodthirster battalion is pretty neat and the Khorgorath buff alleviates somewhat my concern over mediocre warscrolls not getting any shine. Cautiously optimistic.
  6. Warscroll above. He's alright. Damage is pretty good but he'll die if targeted. We'll see what the points are.
  7. They'll need something significant to become competitive, especially if they don't do anything to address the warscrolls' innate lack of Rend or MW output in addition to mobility. Khorne are in competitive lists now only by the grace of Sayl and Warp Lightning Cannons. GW have not done much to existing warscrolls in SCE and Disciples so I'd be surprised to see any noticeable changes there besides limiting the unbind of the LoK and Slaughterpriest. The Blood Tide (or whatever it's called) mechanic in 40k Khorne Daemonkin I wouldn't be surprised to see make an appearance. It gives you points when stuff dies that you can spend on buffs and summoning.
  8. He looks like an early League of Legends Garen splash screen.
  9. They look basically as I expected, just more... Squatty. They're cool, more or less, flashy and unique but some of this is a little (sorry) dumb looking. Brokk Grungson looks like a parody model someone produced to show how Games Workshop have GONE TOO FAR. Highlights for me are the Grungstok Thunderers (power armor guys with big guns) and the ships, and the characters look alright. Is it starting to become apparent to everyone else though that GW appears to be in serious love with the profit margin on character models, producing an excessive amount of them compared to sometimes paltry unit offerings? Anyway, lows are the Arkanaut Company (a different paintjob could maybe sway me) and the balloon guys. I just don't get them, it looks silly. Also sad that this seems to not be Battletome: Dwarves. Finally, brace yourselves for the EA cease and desist for GW clearly basing these guys on plagiarised art for the Volus race from Mass Effect.
  10. In a "balanced" 2k(ish) army fielding maybe 3-4 warscrolls' worth the current cost of Kurnoths is a non-issue. Sylvaneth have a high core tax and either weak or expensive characters. Where we get into problems is with 15+ Kurnoths in usually mixed Order armies forming just abominable gunlines. That DOES need looking at. You're not wrong that if Kurnoths go up a lot Sylvaneth are in a bit of trouble. That's something they'll have to address simultaneously.
  11. Going off prematurely. My Plagueclaw Catapult failed its last to-wound roll the other night.
  12. New game: Warhammer 41K! I kinda skimmed over that image before, assumed it was something to do with Adepticon. It looks VERY AoS-y. Have they had big reveals at cons like this in recent times?
  13. Yeah they were saying that at the start when it was introduced. It was incorrect and I'm pretty sure you're only one of many who never heard differently.
  14. Just wait until they re-release the Freeguild as a purely ratcatcher-themed faction. Rat pelts all-round, Rat-Gryph cavalry, Aetherrat flyers and Wererat monstrous infantry.
  15. I get worried every time I see that picture. Do not like.
  16. That's a pretty well sculpted and painted rubbish figure.
  17. Yeah but considering GW's skull policy ("Needs more") that could be actual anything.
  18. I don't understand why on earth they even included the option to not put Enlightened on discs. It makes no sense to me.
  19. Yeah, more or less. There's stuff in it that might not get reprinted/replaced but I wouldn't expect it to be leaving the shelf much.
  20. The skinny thighs and bell bottom greaves are pretty classic Space Marine. Don't like it, but it's pretty common.
  21. I don't think any kits they currently sell will be updated going forward.
  22. Chapter tactics spotted! Bring on the paint scheme police!
  23. Judicators are by no means soft. W2 4+ with half their damage output coming from the last two wounds in the unit is nails hard. They also tend to be able to reach pretty much whatever they want, at M5 24". Prosecutors with Javelins are also quite cost efficient with perfectly presentable range. Maybe the new units are really good and do change the SC meta, but it won't be because Judicators and Prosecutors aren't cutting it.
  24. Is the decision of first turn order based on number of unit entries (as opposed to single dropping the lot) really a great mechanic?
  25. I got a little excited for a minute but those are all existing models. Hard to get excited about a ST box without the allure of fancy new things.
