  1. The Most Righteous and Sacred Order of the Knights of the Jade Griffon may just once again ride and blast in the name of Sigmar!
  2. AoS Second Edition: The Blending. The long-chased holy grail of 40K vs. Fantasy on the same table, finally realized. One system. Warhammer.
  3. Say whuuuu? A free thing that most folks would gladly pay for?
  4. This sounds neat, but by continually using World That Was stuff (inexplicably survived characters, the stump of the SuperTree, and now a 'fragment' of the world), they make me feel likev I'm watching Lost - a story with lots of flash and hooks, but no sense or explanation.
  5. It's strapped to the side of a giant griffhound. Griffon?
  6. As a long time vet, I'm starting to find AoS going that same direction. Maybe I'm getting old, but compared to AoS at its beginning, I'm finding it confusing to make a force now.
  7. @Thomas Lyons Bah! Evidence. Who needs it? ? I'm just having some fun.
  8. The "harpoon" is not axe-y enough for stunties. It's almost too subtle. Skystuntie boarding weapons would be cannons that shoot great axes attached to chains. Perhaps even cannons that shoot out dwarfs who are holding dual great axes, with chains on their belts.
  9. That's a pretty good question and would indeed be a good indicator. As I am just about to assemble a new Daughters of Khaine force, I'd be interested in the answer. Looking at the photos on GW's site, they really appear to be 25, not 32.
  10. It's scratching the back of my skull. i swear I've read that somewhere in GW lore over my 31 years of playing their stuff.
  11. The teaser image looks like a Soul Engine to me.
  12. This is why I find Narrative Play to be superior. All units have a place. All. If something is weak, it doesn't matter because you are not taking it at the expense of something else. I'm not sure, after 30+ years of trying, that there is a way for GW to appropriately cost all units for Matched Play.
  13. Randomly - I hate terms like "captasus" and other "I am far too cool and lazy to use the right words" shortcuts. Add in the almost universally applied and understood insult that comes with Sigmarine and the like and, well, yeah. Let's be better than that.
  14. Different strokes, I suppose, but I don't see that as a negative testing of boundaries at all! i much prefer monopose models since assembly and cleanup are my two most hated parts of the hobby. If GW can make awesome models I don't need to waste hours assembling, that's a huuuge step forward (or, in a positive way, backward) for me.
  15. Doesn't look like a head to me. more like a circle nut/gasket/widget with grip lines in a + arrangement.
  16. The day they sell painted armies is the day the hobby dies.
  17. Looks like you are in for a lot of fun! Which mat is that? Are you happy with it?
  18. If you are correct, that'd be cool. I did buy the app and would still buy the cards. In old fashioned and like physical goods. Also, glad that Quest is not being forgotten like Renegade seems to have been.
  19. I would love to see more for Renegade, but at least Quest made the cut.
