  1. Cool idea! Their role could be to blunt a charge (those guys wear quite dome armour for mere Musketeers) and maybe a rule that allows stand + counter charge for a nearby unit. Or simply to always get to apply suppressive fire with stand & shoot

  3. In Game terms that means the gun deals 60 mortal wounds, then roll a dice on a 1 you suffer D3 Mortal Wounds yourself ("Dangerous Tech"). Just being salty here XD Introducing a widely avaiable Soulkiller Gun (it's Skaven so there'll be masses of that gun in the Setting if it gets a Model) in a Setting that's based on Souls is just the worst (creatively and narratively), but that's just my opinion. To me that's the same level of destructive nonsense as the Holdo maneuver in Star Wars.

  11. Consolidate all the Warcry Warbands into Darkoath Cultists. Remove the Slaughter Brute and the Mutalith Vortex Beast, Marauders (infantry & Cavalry) Add the Darkoath to S2D.
  12. 15 CoS games in I haven’t succeeded A SINGLE ROLL FOR THAT ABILITY. I brought Steelhelms in every single game and had them on objectives for several turns each.
  13. Imo in this case A souldestroyer gun equals a setting destroyer gun since not even demons are safe - it’s also a level of power not even gods can achieve. I‘d rather them to not go down that rabbit hole

  15. Mine shredd monsters due to poison + Har Garneth Banner (-1 Rend). So I'd even argue they excell vs T4+ due to poison
  16. Imo Wyches are the best unit in the entire book. They’re also the only non-monster melee unit that packs a punch, the whole rest has too little attacks to do anything (including Black Guards) idk about Sisters of Slaughter - they don’t have poison and they have less attacks while being absurdly expensive. I‘d argue they’re just bad. Executioners are plainly overcosted imo. The Hydra and the Kharibdyss are solid.
  17. Tabled the Lizardmen after getting all my Executioners and my Sorceress shredded by arcane missles. So I won’t know if Executioners are worth it He had his Slann left who he ket flee off the board on purpose the Kharabdyss was solid, witches were brutal the (basically 3) bolt throwers (2 reapers + chariot) killed 2 krixigors, 4 Cold one Knights, a Stegadon with Skink and dealt 3 wounds to a bastiladon - super solid when one can place them on a wood! Lizardmen really struggle against the high initiative of Elves. Cauldron: This thing is just weird, in the last turn it basically couldn’t move due to only being 6 Wyches left. It’s just odd and clunky. The bound spell is bad (since everyone brings a lv 4 wizard). Idk if I‘ll add it again or if I‘ll just add another 10 Wyches/Executioners. after this image I killed the Temple Guard, reformed. he charged his monsters, killed my wyches. I charged and killed the Dkinks + Bastilladon. His monsters were shot. he had killed 787 points of mine. 570 of them in shooting (spells and Javelins) All magical Vortexs in the game did nothing and either stayed on the spot or scattered away from enemies. (They never seem to do anything in every game xD)

  19. He has a 4+ ward so a 50% chance to survive. I‘ve had (summed up) 16 wound rolls with monster slayer and didn’t score a dingle 6 🥲 (when I first fought that thing with two Bretonnian Blender-Lords) Speaking of cheese: he places a cheap hero right behind one of his fighting units (block of skeletons) which stops them from giving ground and creates an endless grind in his favor. There‘re some abusive builds with Khemri (already) which are incredibly hard to deal with. @KingKull works against me as he will overkill that champ and my units will give ground and be prone to counter charges with big skeleton blocks which will bind them for the entire game. His army is by no means invincible it’s just dripping with cheese
  20. @Ogregut sadly the list would not work. Due to the rules for issuing a challenge he‘d pick off the dragons one by one.
  21. Was a hard matchup. I would have lost easily. The lack of monster slayer makes life hard for Dark Elves. I faced a Tomb King on Dragon (4+, 4+, 5+) -> completely immortal a Necrosphinx, two Scorpions, a Giant, 2 Blocks of Skeletons, each with a Necrotect, one mage Lv4 (hieropant), one mage lv 1, and a tomb prince I can’t deal enough damage to deal with the skeletons, my DE dragon has no chance to kill his, even after killing the Hierophant nothing crumbles due to the King‘s LD 10 bubble. Every skeleton unit is an elite unit with hatred and +1 attack. And he heals on top of it all while 3 units have both killing blows. It’s not easy to get rid of the Necrotects as well. It’s savage honestly no clue what to do about it as DE except for spamming Witch Elves and pray Any ideas?
