  1. Take it easy there Matt Ward edit: they don’t bother giving Tyranid or Chaos this much glory, ya think Skaven would be any better trololololo
  2. Making feels bad moments aside, the ability in my opinion is ok, depending on his point he can be a low risk, high reward unit and probably meant for people who like playing against the odds. It’s definitely depend on the player psychological mind profile. the biggest drawback is that his ability is worthless against any death heroes that makes it a harder sell then it already is.
  3. Actually I just realize another limitation to the scriptor mortis is that you can’t select and do a judge roll on the same phase, so if you do eventually kill something with it you have to spent another turn selecting another hero before using it again, but I guess if you survive at the end game where you are guarantee an auto 2D6 you can possibly get a cheeky VP at the end of the game. I don’t see the chances of it being Khorne vs Maneater though, and it seem like it too early to reveal something like that right now.
  4. It just the resin/metal one if I am not mistaken? Since the one with Goreaxe is plastic. I am guessing to cut down on non plastic model on the web store they just going down the list ones that are multi variant like them and the maneaters
  5. I wouldn’t say I am upset, I feel like the change is more of an unnecessary pain in the ****** compare to their usual tongue and cheek changes they usually do.
  6. Also it doesn’t work on any of the death armies either so if it doesn’t have any other ability like being a wizard, it basically kind of useless against about a fourth of the playing field
  7. Case and point would be if Morathi and Bow snake are all of a sudden reasonable in the next incoming tome, are they going to taken off the list or they made another mistake with them and they be kept on the list
  8. Well looking at the THG stats Skaven had a 23% win rate against Seraphon, so i am guessing at best it about 1 or 2% improvement in those game you manage to keep it close but I can’t say it going to get any better then that lol
  9. Ummm yeah, well if you have every play of Warcry, three Ogors already are a nightmare to play against lol
  10. If it is happening I wouldn’t expect it until around Fall like Killteam from last year, So I wouldn’t expect it to be announce this early at Adepticon (maybe when Warhammer fest happens)
  11. Sounds like EA with most of their yearly sport video game titles lol Sure, I just attribute to GW lack of focus support on things on Anvil of apotheosis, Meeting Engagement, PTG, and narrative campaign books in AoS to them not finding success with it currently. I am guessing with 40K they have found I bit more success in this area with Crusade and the warzone book because of the player base size difference. Of course I guess it just a vicious cycle of things dying because they where not successful in the first place and then go unsupported later on”
  12. Well there is blood bowl where some teams are purposely inferior to other teams or underdogs but that an entirely different system and gaming environment. With the lack of investment when it comes to buy different team that setup works a bit better
  13. Maybe it because 40K and AoS are mainline game so when potato cam happens they get an article to address but since HH is smaller and their release are infrequent they may not feel the need to address it. Or it could have been that the two example where of model that where going to be release in the coming months but the HH leak happen way to early that they didn’t want to address it until they did a full official reveal. If anything is affecting AoS release it definitely has to do more with 40K being behind and had more pending release then just HH. I actually would have been more hopeful for Adepticon with AoS if CSM where released already and Knights and maybe Guard where the only thing left for 40K for this half.
  14. It would have to be the ITC doing something for anything to get community traction but the only time they had to comp situation was when Ironhands where too strong that they had to ban a paricular list in a tournament
  15. I guess is that narrative stuff don’t sell ( as well) and the whole package is what make the product sells in the end like for all the buzz for anvil of apotheosis it only lasted one year and while we all praise Broken realm it questionable how well it did as a product at least that the feeling I got when looking at AoS lack of presence in black library and Josh Reynolds experience with his novel
  16. For the Kruleboyz, it sort of egregious that Big Yellerz have like two more sentences in their abilities compare to the other two that it just become the brain dead choice that even casual can’t deny it.
  17. I think they where nodding to the fact that the expansion won’t happen until the game is officially rereleased
  18. 40K would be CSM and the renegade knights Horus heresy Necromunda Ash waste AoS more or less what we got last preview with the next Fomo box and the two summer tomes Underworld; whatever the next war and is
  19. Well it’s not like they can sell them their products currently anyway
  20. I feel like we already know what coming for Adepticon given the battle tome roadmap, it just has to be reveal.
  21. Well with the recent range rotation of the 40K resin model, it possible they are starting to cutting down on the finecast resin model production for their main range, man eater existing as multiple models probably made them easier to cut but that just my theory.
  22. TBF it probably the combination of the GHB and unrelease battletomes that probably preventing more changes right now. The thing is that their point adjustment are generally very small and rarely do they change warscroll outside of when an army gets a battletome. I think that basically why many people voted for more updates within the year so their point update would matter more if done more frequently. granted if your army is one of the last battletome GW generally still don’t give you a bone unless your WD article was amazing
  23. Well I fully don’t expect low tier armies to get much help until their battletome comes out, so I didn’t expect battlescroll to help out with that problem. I just don’t like they added another scoring method that seem very match up dependent and extremely arbitrary. It hard enough to remind people to do their battle tactics as is.
  24. It seem this topic before and the argument is because you run the risk inflating people collection and then suddenly taking those point and units away once they get update with their tomes. I get if you only see GW as a profit machine that sell more pieces sound reasonable but their always a fine line that you shouldn’t be cross in game design. Example that is bring up sometimes is that Cygors is probably worth like 80pts but they would never push it that low because they value it as 200 pt ish point monster even if it not worth and pointing it so low causes problem future updates. I guess it also goes against their point cost model that they do for pricing too ( that sort of inflated)
