  1. I believe combined duradin tome originated from Tom of Warhammer weekly but I believe he was just saying what he thought or wish would happen rather then it being an inside source saying it. And like Vampirates it just take a life of it own and get regurgitate everywhere from 4chan and anon post. just like how I feel combined Beast and STD book came from Neverchosen I always thought if Grugni was returning into AoS as a model he would just get Legion of the first prince rules instead of a dedicated tome release
  2. Because there a clear difference and divide between Ironjawz and Kruleboyz armies and not about the function of Big Waagh! But how Ironjawz have also been screwed by lack of new model in the seven year. They haven’t even gotten a foot hero which at least Fyreslayer case they have gotten 2 plus their terrain piece and prayers. now I am not saying who really have suffer more here but it does show the problem with soup and model release in the warclans format
  3. Ironjawz can’t use any of the Kruelboyz or Bonesplitterz in their army not even as allies into themselves. I don’t really count BIG WAAgh! For obvious reasons yeah but then why Nighthaunt get a reused cover as well. No one really thought they where getting merge to any other army
  4. Ironjawz say hi, they are the one army that have gotten even less then Fyreslayer in the last seven years
  5. Daughters was the last army to get endless spells, which makes me feel their book was suppose to have been release earlier back when they didn’t shift away from releasing them with army in 2.0
  6. Eh it whatever, I didn’t expect a gitz tome anytime soon especially given how bad some rumors are and it probably better for your tome to be release later rather then now, no need to drink asinine over lackluster update system like FAQs and tome celestial (which GiTz have three of anyway). as a hobbyist I rather like models over rules anyway
  7. T Realistic expectation would just be them (current DoK), if it where more they probably change the army name
  8. The rumor for world eatrr didn’t say summer if I remember correctly just that it coming out in the near future like Daemon and squat
  9. I do say that most rumor we have gotten where wrong since none of them had DOK as a release as for why they get a new tome, I had a suspicion that DOK 2nd edition tome was meant to have been release in 2020 before 40K 9th edition and the timing would have been longer between books
  10. I always assume that Malerion was going to get a Lumenith army release and just be basically a brand new army without using any of the current CoS stuff
  11. I have a feeling it because of popularity and that Nighthaunt is actually pretty popular army in the community despite it lackluster ruleset. So army that sold well in the past are more likely to get bigger updates to ranges. I wouldn’t be surprise if they get more stuff judging by some unsolved rumor engines
  12. Well New model definitely yes, LVO is a big event so I would dare say AoS will get model reveal for getting a slot in the show unlike the last online event how much new models they are going to reveal is up in the air. Is it just one or is it a bit more then that is the question
  13. It possibly because they are more directly involved with Space Marine 2and TW3 so that why they promote them but other license stuff they are not involve in the project and don’t promote it
  14. Since it mainline AoS titled it most likely just battletome reveal and/or more one off heroes. Don’t think there going to be anything for the AoS sidegames like Underworlds or Warcry. Off chance there a teaser or hint of what the next big release for AoS but with how heavy 40K it been it seems unlikely right now.
  15. GW marketing in general has always been bizarre (or extremely conservative) they don’t really advertise or market their product outside of the tabletop circle or reach out to the broader market. It seems like they feel like their product sell themselves and they are content with where they are in the industry and just like doing their own thing. it like the recent Henry Cavill thing and him liking Warhammer. You have a big celebrity who been a big fan of your product and gave GW free advertising but GW themselves didn’t mention it or even build of that hype.
  16. i mean it depends, the main space marine codex has all the interchangeable units but the BIG three chapters (Space Wolves, Blood Angels, and Dark Angels) have the most unique units enough that are separate armies in themselves. i would say those three are more substantial then Black templar even after that release and are playtested as separate armies for the most part
  17. Warcom have been wrong many times before though
  18. I don’t know if there still a dedicated FW team or if they just change to just being fully the specialist game division. HH and Lotr I believe have their own dedicated team still the specialist games generally have core plastic models but release lot of resin upgrades, special characters and models from FW. but they generally release side games often time at smaller scale and scope, I would say Adeptus Titanicus being the biggest scale game they have release recently
  19. It can be Horus heresy level where all the special units are Resin except for the base space marine troops and transports or it can be how Specialist game does where the core game is plastic but they release special FW models from time to time. but I think there going to be resin model in the game though
  20. Sometimes they reuse stock photography from a while ago, they use the old Goblin warboss on cave squig one time I remember
  21. Well that not what the rumor say is going to happen lol from Reddit: Warhammer: The Old World Rumours **Hi Guys,** **many rumours cycling around the last 2 Months - lets start to collect them and maybe you guys have new information:** ***The Newest:*** 1. At the start there will be a core box (empire against orcs&goblin) in plastic that will be availiable in GW stores and such (thing HH Burning of Prospero/Betrayal at Calth), then everything else for a while will be FW resin. The initial goal is to have several supporting releases for each of the starter factions, then do two B-tier factions (either new ones or less popular old ones like wood elves) entirely in resin within two years. 2. After those two years there will be a second starter with two more factions big factions (Dwarves vs High Elves has supposedly been considered, but both in one box has been vetoed) with accompanying resin support. After that there'll be an assessment period where all production will go to FW. If things turn out favorably there'll be more starters and possibly other plastic kits after that. 3. There also has been an explicit mandate to have NO kit overlap between AoS and TOW, even where it could be justified like Skaven or Lizardmen. Yes. Everything will be new sculpts, there will be zero carry-over or reprints of old stuff. Old models can be used, but loadouts won't necessarily be the same. 4. Can't say for obvious reasons, though previously the guy had been reasonably accurate. It's entirely possible that I misunderstood something or he got it wrong. The two-year thing confused me, too. That said, I've heard the rumor about resin for everything outside the big boxes from multiple sources, so I'd put my money on that being mostly accurate. ***The Oldest November/December 202***1: 1. We will see a preview for Warhammer The Old World at the beginningw of next Year, this one will be bigger than those we saw in the past and since the Game was the first Time announced in November 2019.This preview will be a bit more precise about the Game. The Ruleset for Warhammer the Old World will be 7th Edition to the core, but with smaller influences from the 5th, 6th and 8th Editions. They understood that the 8th was too big in the sense of Army building, even for GW Games. 2. The Core Rules are more or teaser completed and work on the Starter Sets written content and early expansions will soon starting but Miniatures are still in Work 3. There will be a new concept of Expansions Books and three Compendium-like Tomes for 8th Edition Armies before The End Times in a format like Ravening Hordes from the early 6th Edition. It looks like that the concept of Armybooks will stay and continue and The Old World becomes something like the 9th Edition WHFB. 4. Those Kislev and Cathay previews are misinterpreted by some people. They do serve more like an advice for Total War and should show how both Games are "interlocked" based on the same Artworks and as part of World Building for the TT Game. Also they will show that the new WHFB Game will be not focused on the territories of the Empire as in the past. Those faction will come for The Old World but not from the very beginning. 5. Model Ranges are already in the Work, but the most progressing Part of the Reboot is the Backstory and the Freerooms they have because the different timeline. 6. Early Factions for the Game will be no brainers and all time community favs like the Empire, Orcs and Goblins, Dwarfs and Chaos. Those factions are focused the most but others are in the work, but do not expect Cathay or other niche factions too early, those will need years after the reboot to come to light. 7. Release could be Summer 2023, but that Date isn't finally set. Covid brought more trouble for GW than everyone believes... 8. They're also internal changes for Warhammer the Old World. The main Studio is more involved in this project, which was the idea of the oldest Studio Members. 9. Also the established release shedule for GW in the last years is mostly obsolete thanks to Covid: They can't no longer bring new Editions every three years. I got informations about those "Compendium" Books for Warhammer The Old Word. As earlier said, it will be three Books. "Good Factions Book" \- Empire \- Bretonnia \- Dwarfs \- High Elves "Bad Factions Book" \-Warriors of Chaos \- Beasts of Chaos \- Dark Elves \- Skaven \- Orcs and Goblins \- Vampire Counts "Neutral Factions Book" \- Wood Elves \- Khemri \- Ogre KIngdoms \- Lizardmen so far thats the newest ******, have you any more? let uns know 🙂
  22. There was some Old world rumors posted on Reddit today. But reading them they don’t seem worth posting them here
  23. I think the problem is that there the other side of the coin where people like thematic spam list, conditional battleline option, and less limitation in list building I think GW found out that this psychographic profile is very strong during when BCR came out and people like these thing, they started make options to play like this. but I think starting with BCR in 1st edition and later into Trogherd, it went from it a thematic list and fun but it can’t play the game of Sigmar, to It can play the game of Sigmar a bit but it more for fluff bunny and now the mindset has change to these armies have to competitively able to win games in Sigmar.
