  1. Hexwraiths get a bonus attack to scythe and horse from DG and KoS command ability iir as well; giving both would be 7 attacks each with 5 each able to proc MW's
  2. Nighthaunt needs "chapter" bonuses. Small army-wide tweaks like nearly every single new book (and all of 40k) has now.

  5. Briar 180? Ffs she almost costs as much as Olynder now. In all honesty Oly feels a bit undercosted now considering just how much mayhem she can spew if she doesnt get blapped
  6. Its not like we are close to some tipping point threshold where a few buffs would flood the meta and stagnate the game. Its selling models. Oly/Kurdoss/Coach sales must be down. Hexwraiths too. (Slightly salty) Same as how my Necrons have felt utterly ignored in powercreep/model updates for years now

  8. Points update today? Oh man thats exciting! Personally; slight reduction for Hosts and Hexes, large reduction for Stalkers (or make them BL), small reduction for Myrmourns and Mourngul.
  9. I have a Kurdoss, 2 KoS, Aetherquartz list that would love the Scion battallion; but the battalion cost AND 2 DH's is steep. (Multiple units of bladegheists and Myrmourns, kurdoss and quartz to keep +1a on multiple units) I still think Harrows should have had some sort of bodyguard synergy with KoS's baked in
  10. I like the KoS and DH's battalion but its a rather hefty tax. Battalion cost and 2 DH's is pretty rough; though a definite blessing if your list called for them anyway
  11. Its fair. Imagine all the BS combos with some allied General with 10 to 30 wounds of DG bubblewrapping
  12. @States DG states any time you would allocate a wound or mortal wound to your general, roll. On a 2+ you MUST allocate to DG instead
  13. Im in the process of making an altrrnative KoSes as we speak; dont tease me about there being an alternative model on the horizon 😁
  14. Dolorous Guard is by far the most versatile and will be making its way into my lists eventually. I do like Scions for an aetherquartz/Kurdoss 2 KoSES cp retention list though And it doesnt matter much but remember those DH's get rerolls when close to their KoS
  15. Exactly what I was thinking. Maybe a STorment with the pendant for spot heals and rerolling 1's tagging along
  16. Look at Scions in a Kurdoss list. Take 2 KosES (or mounted and foot) bladegheists and myrmourns, Kurdoss, Aetherquartz. Boosting myrmourns and bladegheists reliably every turn.
  17. The more I think about it the more Hexes actuslly work as her bodygusrd as well. If you get screened or end up against a suboptimal matchup, neither Hexes NOR Oly *have* to be in combat to cause damage. Your hexes just retreat through, causing MW's, Oly runs to keep in formation and spits MW's in every direction til she gets where she wants to be
  18. It might also not NECCEASRILY sound thematic; but DG allows Olynder to soak damage and ressurect properly as well. As you can CHOOSE to soak the wounds to DG you can let her heal herself and soak at the same time Consider it for an aggressive Reik or Kurdoss too. Once you look at it in the vein of keeping the General alive as one of NH's biggest faults; DG is pretty huge (That having been said I would have preferred it being Hosts over Hexes myself)

Entire mounted list 10 Hex 10 Hex 5 Hex 5 Hex Black coach DH (black tome - shademist), DH (General-ROTSH, helm of watcher) KosEs (sword of judement or offensive weapon relic) Reikonor (soul cage) +Emerald lifeswarm, STorment Leverages Dolorous Guard, spectral summons, has reroll 1s to wound, -1 to wound friendlies, RotSH + Coach + Lifeswarm + Torment heals, all hexes and coach are able to retreat to reposition while dishing out mortals. Very tiny footprint but quite durable, could run the two 5 man blocks as another 10. Just spitballing
  20. Give a Torment the +3 move pendant to keep up; let the hexes reroll 1's and heal as they go
  21. I for one LOVE these! One of my earliest suggestions was a way to pull wounds off of a KoS onto the DH's and make a mounted NH force, adding +2 attacks to Hexs isnt bad at all (yes its wounds to hexes but still) 2 unit of Hexes, 1 DH and the KoseS ona flank; your anvil and other DH on the other flank/center Hexes charge; get their +2, do what they can. Next round they retreat thru the enemy; dropping their movment MWs, and charge into something important. KoSeS and second rank kf Hexes mop up initial charge target
  22. Yes. I have in fact failed to cast cogs on a +3 enough times to give up on it, plus the two of them together are such an all-in and obvious strat too.
  23. Ive stopped taking Reik. Or any casters at all tbh. Spells failing inordinatly everytine I try, been falling back on Torments
  24. One concern; will they be Nighthaunt Battalions or Legion of Grief? Dun dun dunnn
