  1. It says on her warscroll she must be the general to use orgy of slaughter, but others are telling me that ALL characters can use their command abilities in the new edition, regardless of whether they’re the general. This is of course for matched play games.
  2. O.K., Crew, here’s a rules question we’re having. Can a non general slaughter queen use her orgy of slaughter command ability? Some say no, she has to be the general. Others are saying, yes, that all characters can use their command abilities now. Give me your insights, references, etc.
  3. My snakes are suffering from painting envy, lol
  4. Dante needs to be arrested for abusing and shaming his fellow painters with his INSANE painting ability, lol. Those witches and ponies are as good as anything I’ve ever seen. Dante is an amazing artist! Bravo, sir!
  5. I stopped using them because they broke the snake theme. They did very little for me, but maybe others find them more useful.
  6. Yes, I built 10 of them just to try for a goof. Lolol, I could breathe on them and they’d break. Horrible design! They did little for me, and I replaced them with a slaughter queen and a hag queen. The army I have now will be my permanent army.
  7. Wow, did you pick a scab, lol. There are so many people who play DoK that have railed at the cost of witch elves, which are RIDICULOUSLY overpriced! Personally, I just love the snakes both in terms of fluff and model design. Witch elves are a nightmare to paint and are very fragile models to transport. I think that’s the reason that DoK players are limited in number. When your basic 2k list is a $1000.00 dollars, you price most average players out of the market.
  8. I have a buddy who uses the blight kings and my snakes usually cut through them, but they aren’t pushovers. List: Medusa General on Shrine 1 Slaughter Queen 4 Hag Queens 3 units of 20 Blood Sisters
  9. Honestly, most of my opponents have been happy to play against my snakes rather than the usual 90 to 120 witch elves that a lot of DoK players are using. As for being “one sided,” I intended it to be that way. The theme is a brute force Hagg Nar inner sanctum combat list. I see your point that the lack of a variety of units can make the game a bit bland, but most opponents love looking at the huge units of snakes. Notwithstanding, I have sent a few opponents reeling from the table at the brutality of the snakes. While it’s not my intent to ruin anyone’s gaming experience, I have no regrets with all of these Nurgle, Death, and other killer lists I face.
  10. In my opinion, they are a total waste. I would never replace blood Sisters with stalkers. It’s just my personal preference. Obviously, I love the Blood Sisters.
  11. Tell me about it! I have horrible lighting here. I need to invest in a high powered lamp.
  12. Going to another tournament in 2 weeks. Did a makeover for my snakes
  13. The Devoted of Hagg Nar march forth to slaughter the weak!
  14. The snakes move so fast, we don’t worry about getting to the enemy, lol.
  15. Nighthaunt will definitely be a pain in the butt to fight with that crazy 4+ ethereal save, but I’m not too worried. Maybe it’s a cavalier attitude, but I’m confident enough in what my snakes can do. Kunnin Rukk’s 3 million shots per turn is what I fear, lol.
  16. I’ve found this topic to be a non-issue where I game. Most gamers where I game just work it out. In other cases, there are some people that are willing to let things slide because they don’t want to lose an opponent for future games. Especially if they live in an area where players are hard to come by. Bottom line, be a decent person and be reasonable. Our group has a great deal of veteran gamers, and we occasionally have to quell animosity among the teens and twenty-somethings. A strong gaming community often is the key to playing respectfully and promoting fair play.
