Tim the Enchanter 50 Posted September 2, 2016 Cheers dude To start is a black undercoat, followed by dry brushing! Doombull brown at first, followed by Khorne red. Leaving pure black in the deepest areas. A wash of abbadon black over it. Then using a wet pallet I used Khorne red, evil sunz scarlet and troll slayer orange in varied and escalating mix to build layers of colour where I wanted it. The deepest shaded parts are pure black and the dry brushing and wash give it a gradual blend right up to orange. the final highlights are Kislev flesh mixed with a small amount of white. the scales are individually highlighted in this way as well. i wanted to create the impression the skin hues were shifting colour and the brightest areas are where the most violence was building up! hope that helps?
