Khorne starter pack looking to add models

Hello, I've recently been pulled back to Warhammer after a long hiatus and went halves on the AOS starter back with me bro! he went Stormcast I went Chaos.

Painting was the pull but now I fancy some battles too, not sure on a build yet, thinking a solid front line but not too points costly and then throwing in some mages and artifacts, 

looking to build a 1k for now then grow to a 2k and bigger, going to look at possibly a death army in the near future

just starting back go taking it slow for now, guitar is already an expensive hobby haha

If you're looking for heroes that will mesh well with your starter set box, the Gorechosen board game is a solid deal.

4 leader models for the price of 2. And it will help fill out "The Gorechosen" battalion scroll.

Alternatively the new Skirmish box is also a solid choice. (It will be available in stores this weekend.) It provides another hero, some reinforcement for your blood warriors and can build a unit of either skullreapers or wrathmongers.
