Bradifer
So I decided to use the Thunderwolf Cavalry as my Dire Wolves, Currently I own 9/10 Thunderwolf mounts (for my 2 x 5 Dire Wolves). So I have the option to use a seperate model as the champion leader of the unit. Of course if nothing else I'll just buy one more and make it stand up taller via cork basing or something. Problem is, the thunderwolf cavalry is pretty huge so I'm not sure what would work that's even larger than them...Was thinking potentially a werewolve from Hordes might work, they're large and look more like a leader. Any suggestions?
CoffeeGrunt
The Hordes models will stick out like a sore thumb though. Perhaps try looking at Malifaux minis?
Bradifer
I saw some FW models called Skin Wolves that I could use. However I was starting to think about using the thunderwolves as blood knight horses. Would be a cool alternative to horses. Just have to get some suitable riders. For Dire Wolves I might use Fenrisian Wolves and thunderwolves as the champion model...It's an afterthought!
CoffeeGrunt
Thunderwolves tend to have a lot o bionic bits, though.
Bradifer
Thunderwolves tend to have a lot o bionic bits, though. The bionic bits are optional. They include. 5 legs, one is robotic. Although I believe there is an eyepiece that is bionic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
