What differentiates him from the generic Maw-Krusha is his command ability. Run him with a big Warscroll Battalion and it will be massive. What generally differentiates the "Big Guns" from their generic counterparts is that they can affect the entire battlefield, rather than a subset of it.

Completely agree with this! I love my 2,000pt Tournament practice games, but equally enjoy a bit of 1,000pt AoS. Works a treat.
