I like the combination of judicators and liberators. I threw in some retributors and prossecutors for problem solving and a lord velestant on dracoth for quick response. The three heroes on foot will be positioned between the liberators and judicators for support range. xaljorn14 Posted March 3, 2017 Share Posted March 3, 2017 I'm planning on running a similar build but with either a hammer strike force or a lords of the storm battalion in with it. Besides that I personally prefer the longbow judicators over the crossbows but that cause my local ground a lot of players run units that the crossbows just can't take down reliably. I'd have to look at the set up again but I thought it could work pretty well. I figure lords of the storm would give me a good reason to keep my heroes close to each other and the anvils rely on that too so it kinda synergizes. If I remember correctly it also leaves just enough room to fit a Celestant prime in too by no means do I think it'll be good at a competitive competition but against the guys at my shop it should be fairly good Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Austin Posted March 3, 2017 Share Posted March 3, 2017 I'm not the biggest fan of prosecutors but they do seem like a good choice here. I wonder if you have enough damage dealing ability. I also exchanged the dracoth lord for 2 dracoth fulminators. Is that wise? I also found some room for a gryph hound that can do their warning cry. Which is nice with reasonable missile power. The liberators could pin down large units while the bolter judicators mow down the enemy behind the shields. The lord Celestant can give them a further +1 to hit with his command ability. About his trait, consumate commander unlocks the dracoth lord cellestant command ability but staunch defender in combination with the lord castellant could give a 2+ armour save, rerolling 1's.. Now I don't know if their new book changes stuff.. but otherwise with one army and one formation you are only allowed 1. Not sure how lights and creature traits work. And your relictor still has 2. The castellant only has a magical flashlight now and the relictor a spellshield and a prayer. The Lord cellestant on dracoth the gift of six smiths.
