Turragor Posted February 22, 2017 Share Posted February 22, 2017 I like your double celestant idea with the templar hammer and liberators. It makes this a more punchy melee list. I'm pondering a kitey kind of list myself. It's a work in progress. I really feel like the Tempest Lords are the way to get stardrakes into higher level play now. Turragor Posted February 24, 2017 Share Posted February 24, 2017 One thing I am trying to figure out is, with the mobile list I have, there is still need for a 'hammer'. And I'm trying to figure out what it might be. Say there's a tough enemy target to kill? Say I meet a stonehorn and 2 thundertusks. What're my options? The stardrake with the extra items and buffs? (Not on the stonehorn surely) The liberators with blessed weapons and the vanguard wing double wounds on 6s to hit still won't do it. The stonehorn is also quick. This list is very kitey but won't get away from a stonehorn. The Thundertusks will erase a prosecutor unit each a turn until wounded (if I can keep my stardrake out of range). Ponder ponder. Mobility is not everything. Stardrake list needs paladins. If you really like the idea of Prosecutors at all, take Hammerstrike with 9 Prosecutors and drop 2x10 Paladins (10 Retributors and 10 Protectors should be fine ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
