10 irondrakes (220)

20 hammerers (400)

20 ironbrakers (320)

the idea is runelord near thunderers for -1 rend prey and the other to buff another unit. He didn't took longbearers because he has only 1 command ability..what do you think?:)

From intial looks the Grudgebound War Throng Battalion requires a Unforged hero.

It's similar to what I was considering but I had Longbeards and Quarrellers instead of Thunderers

Leaders
Unforged (100)
Warden King (120)
Runelord (80)
Runelord (80)
Runelord (80)

Units
Longbeards x 10 (140)
- Shield & Great Axe
Dwarf Warriors x 10 (100)
- Shield & Double Handed Dwarf Axe
Dwarf Warriors x 10 (100)
- Shield & Double Handed Dwarf Axe
Quarrellers x 30 (360)
- Shield
Irondrakes x 10 (220)
Ironbreakers x 10 (160)
Hammerers x 20 (400)

Battalions
Grudgebound War Throng (60)

Total: 2000/2000

Yeah Ironbreakers are great as a unit to hold up something.

I think I'll be swapping out the 20 Hammerers, 400pts is a huge point sink for them.

Think I might add some extra Longbeards and some artillery.

In terms of effectiveness I personally prefer the hammerers. Those 2 3+ 3+ attacks are just amazing.

I think it depends on how you want to play. If you feel you need a unit to hold an objective and never loose it... take 20 ironbreakers.

If you feel 10 is okay then take the extra runelord to boost your units.

I would just try both out :)

But since you asked: I would take 20 ironbreakers, because with 10 they are outnumbered quite quick when holding objectives. Also most armies do some mortal wounds and 10 seems very fragile.
