1 Dogmantra
There's a lot of example stuff in the FAQ but the ruling essentially boils down to the one sentence in the middle: Quote In each phase, each unit only has one opportunity to fight before being removed from play per attacking unit. The key words here are per attacking unit, so each time it's someone's turn to choose a unit to fight, the limit resets. Based on your examples: Vulkites have been chosen to fight some Zombies. The Vulkites kill some Zombies which bounce MWs back and kill 5 Vulkites in return. The 5 dead Vulkites can now fight on death, and they kill some more Zombies. Another Vulkite dies to the MW bounceback. However because the Vulkites are still the unit chosen to attack and they have already fought on death, this Vulkite doesn't fight. Later in the fight phase, the Zombies hit back at the Vulkites and kill two. Because the attacking unit is now the Zombies, the Vulkites can fight on death again, and the two dead ones kill a couple of zombies. If any MWs bounce back and kill more Vulkites, those ones cannot fight on death. or example 2: Vulkites are in combat with Unit A and Unit B. Unit A attacks, killing 10 Vulkites, these Vulkites can now fight on death. Later in the fight phase, Unit B attacks the Vulkites and kills 20 of them. Since it's a new attacking unit, the Vulkites can fight on death again. 1

0 NinthMusketeer
I still remember from back in the day when Wrathmongers had an ability when they died to force an enemy model to fight its own unit... cue a unit of 30 death-frenzied (fight on death spell) stormvermin charging a 10-man unit of wrathmongers. They basically exploded. 😆
Question
Doko
i dont get how work the new atack when die.
per example as i read it:
vulkites attack to a unit that does mortals wounds when models die as zombi or magadroths.
1-vulkites attack an kill a bunch of enemy
2-then the enemy does mortal wounds back and kill 5 vulkites that attack when die
3-enemy active the unit and kill 15 vulkites
4-these 15 vulkites died cant attack because this unit allready used attack when die one time before?
or other situation:
1-vulkites are in combat with two units(a and b)
2-vulkites attack
3-unit A attack and kill 10 vulkites that attack when die
4-unit B attack and kill 20 vulkites that cant attack when die because allready used attack when die one time?
plz as work the rule,im confused
